Also, Juicy is kind of more iconic than any Jay-Z song

Even Solange (before the elevator thing) implied that Nas was a better rapper than Jay-Z. Alicia, AFTER ESOM, explicitly said that she preferred Nas over Jay-Z. Not to mention all of the other industry folks and the hood spitting the truth. Not a (bought) Grammy or a pop feature will change that.

No way Biggy Azalea is gonna have more than a handful of widely played songs just off his 2 albums, but driving around in my car (East Coast) I must hear him played JUST AS MUCH as I do any current/selling artist, from those 5-6 big ones alone.

Jay-Z was more musically consistent, but even then, Holy Grail is a weedplate vs. Life Is Good, which is Nas' best album in years and legitimately a strong effort. Jay-Z spits a whole bunch of ********, and that's been the case since his comeback in 2006.

I don't disagree that Nas IS a better lyricist than Jay, especially now, although in general it's debatable, but Ether was not the song that proved it versus Takeover.
*****, you ain't live it
You witnessed it from your folks' pad
You scribbled it in your notepad and created your life
I showed you your first TEC, on tour with Large Professor
Then I heard your album about your TEC on the dresser
So yeah, I sampled your voice, you was using it wrong
You made it a hot line, I made it a hot song
^
This part of Takeover kinda ******* on the dick sucking lips and ****-e-fella lines in Ether. Though the latter is still a better diss song.

These demolish Jays hits tho.
And Jay has released a ton of ****** albums since 2003. Nobody takes him seriously anymore.

"Juicy"
"Mo Money, Mo Problems"
"Get Money"
"One More Chance"
"Party and ********"
"The Warning"
"Hypnotize"
"The Sky Is The Limit"
"Big Poppa"
All classics.
Had Biggie lived long enough, perhaps he would be collaborating with Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys for chart hits.

Sorry sis no.
Nothing about "Takeover" shat on any part of Ether.
Ether was a literal Ether. It made "Takeover" seem like a cute little attempt. Like the scalping from the first verse was just..even I felt snatched just listening to it

Wasn't the elevator incident a publicity stunt? Didn't Matthew confirm it was in an interview during the summer?
