Most of this thread is bullsh*t. Pink's first four albums are pretty varied with the exception of a few singles. Funhouse, the GH singles and The Truth About Love are when she became a bit formulaic and I think it's obviously because during the Try This and (beginning of) I'm Not Dead era, her career seemed just about over in the States. She needed eras like Funhouse and TTAL to cement her status as a consistent hitmaker.

She's easily THE TOKEN pop/rock chick, the original anti-Lolita that emerged during the teen pop phase. Her image has spoken for itself and everyone knows she's one of the best current female performers that has had longevity alongside Beyonce.
