that's what we said about Rihanna but then she came back harder and better with WFL. Maybe GaGa can pull it off too...maybe a new album won't be such an awful idea instead of kicking off on her tour.
While I don't follow Rihanna closely, I don't recall any of her eras ever being so messy nor her being overexposed the way Gaga is now.
Plus, Rihanna's always been good at giving people the type of music they want. Gaga took a chance with this album and it didn't work out. Why or how is not important, but she needs a rest to gather her bearings and figure out what she has to do.
Lmao at the delusion. She performed Hair acoustically, not as a single and it was given no airplay, so stop. No one will have anything off this album, but they sure will buy the full album.
Actually, it got minimal airplay when released as a promo single. It got close to the top 40 on radio.
She tried so hard to be more than just a basic popstar, and she got so far, but in the end it doesn't matter because she didn't know when to stop and took everything to such extremes. And now the only way she can stay relevant is to be the most basic of popstars and to go back to singing about dance floors, DJs and bad boys.
Time to end the BTW era. Leave Gaga off the radio for the first half of 2012 so when she releases later in the year the public will be ready. But will they be ready for the material she'll deliver?
Interscope has to spend money on other artists this year, like No Doubt and Nelly Furtado. They're better off saving their budget than beating a dead horse.
Stop with this "break" nonsense. If the people need a break from Gaga, then they also need a break from Katy, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Adele, etc. The only difference between Gaga and the other girls is her music. People don't need a break, just look at her ABC special ratings, her album sales, the fact that several major US networks have given her special treatment, etc. All she needs is universal music that is catchy and fun. If she came out with a new album and it was filled with club bangers, everything would be fine.
Common sense.

Why are you saying that as if it's a bad thing when you want her to be a basic popstar and work with producers like Luke?
Even the 'Alejandro' video helped the single. Like I've already said in the other thread:

It's definitely a standout track on the album and single material (it wasn't originally supposed to be the lead single for no reason.) It's classic Gaga, it has a catchy hook, and her signature production.

It was a safe choice and everyone expected it to be a surefire hit. I still don't understand why all the high profile performances aren't helping.
I changed my mind about Schiesse, it would be a bad idea because people wont be able to understand what the heck she's saying. I could just picture people having a hard time trying to find the name of the song. I think GH, HML, & BM would make better singles.
