No. That 15 min Bey performance took way too long. Bey could actually learn a thing by shortening her performance. It honestly wasn't that good as compared to some of her others.
Britney literally just came to say she could do better than 2007, and then to leave. Do you honestly think she cared. For all we know, Britney could have requested it so that Bey's media would purposefully overshadow hers. We all know that Britney doesn't want the media like Bey does.

Twenty five years ago Madonna, MJ, and Janet all could have performed the same night and given phenomenal standout performances. It isn't MTV's fault nor is it Beyonce's that no one is even half the performer she is.
It's more of a reflection of where the industry is at.
And no, don't feel sorry for Rih because she actually did well. She's been improving performance wise for awhile now.

That was my point. She did do well. But as you know MTV has legitimately went on Bey's ass since the performance ignoring all other acts. Each of the acts did stand on their own. And even back in the day their were acts that overshadowed all others, but MTV weren't so stuck behind one artist. Don't get me wrong, Beyonce deserves praise because she works hard. But right now it is forced and contrived. When it gets to that point it seems more like it is being fake instead of that Beyonce earned it on her own merit.

it's really shady and suspicious that they gave Brit a commercial and hyped her as returning on the VMA stage when it was only one song she was about to perform and a song by another artist.
Rihanna performing alot on Vanguard Night is completely reasonable.. but the fact Bey had a 15 minutes performance when it was never hyped that she'd be performing that long.. let alone MTV allowed her to perform that long. it wasnt even a comeback for Bey.. there was no other reason for her to perform for 15 minutes cause all the artists were meant to perform one to two songs at least based on VMA history. unless youre a vanguard recipient
