All of you who don't like Joanne need to respectfully let the rest of us enjoy this era and the music. It's annoying to come on here and be flooded with a stream of negative comments. Come back for the next album. There's plenty of good music out right now to listen to.

And I don't even see anyone posting negative comments. Learn the difference between being constructive and negative.

Her lobster comment is really stupid. It reminds me of that " boys get distracted by girl's clothing in school so they cant concentrate on their education" bs. . If Mark etc gets distracted by a hat to the point where it impairs their work, they are not mature enough to be a professional.

If you dont want to wear the lobster, just say that you dont want to wear it anymore. No need to make some bs excuse to legitimize the decision.

Or perhaps be even more honest and say "the general public doesn't want to see me wearing lobsters anymore." That's the honest truth. If Gaga's costumes were still accompanied by great commercial success, I think she would still be wearing them.

Björk is widely respected, works with many fantastic musicians, and just spent her entire last era dressed like this:



If the music is on point, no one will be distracted by a lobster. Obviously Gaga and Björk are very, very different artists, but it's still a decent comparison. Björk's eccentricity turns casual fans off, but it certainly doesn't distract from her music.

You don't see any? There are plenty of overly negative and non-constructive comments about Gaga and Joanne in here. There is a large difference between posting about Joanne and only posting negative comments about Joanne, and many are only doing the latter. I didn't like ARTPOP, so I expressed my opinions once or twice and moved on. It's sad to see people incapable of doing the same for Joanne.

On the other hand, I do sort of understand where Gaga is coming from. She dressed in typical Gaga fashion for the National Anthem, and that spawned lots of "Effie from the Hunger Games!" memes. But I still don't think that distracted from her fantastic performance... everyone knows she did a great job.

Eh, I feel like people as a whole are posting "negativity" in a constructive manner... because they care about Gaga. It's certainly a change from the vitriol that was posted during the ARTPOP era.

Also, the way Gaga has gone about certain parts of this era ("good morning, new fans!" after the first dive bar performance ) is admittedly a little mean to her most hardcore dance-pop Gaga fans. I don't really care either way, but I can understand some fans' frustration with being kicked to the curb
