Nnn, I'll remember this post when I actually listen to the album. I only listened to each snippet once (to avoid spoiling the album like with Swinefest) so that was just my brief impression
Regardless, that's the sound I've ALWAYS wanted from her. From all her piano performances as early as TF era, to the footage of her performing in bars with Lady Starlight, etc., it's the style that comes most naturally to her imo.
