Eh...I don't stan anyone. The people I've seen who refer to themselves as stans too frequently appear delusional.

I am "fervently debating in favor of SIL, BIBO, or Tattoo" because they are my favorite songs on the record with Sparks. This doesn't mean I see them working as singles because anything Hilary will release at this point will flop.

The only reason why My Kind and OIAM got more popular than other songs on BIBO is because they're tracks #2 and #3. People streamed them first, then stopped listening.

Spotify has 20 million paid subscribers vs 55 million subscribers who use the free version. The 55 million people who use Spotify for free can not play through the album in album order, it will shuffle the songs. The more likely scenario is that they added My Kind and OIAM to playlists which is why they have much more streams.

I honestly completely agree with you. What's with this OIAM not being personal. I feel her completely when she sings it. It's probably my fave track on the album because it says so much about what she's going thru and how accurate everything is. It sounds like a happy track, but it actually isnt, the lyrics are haunting.

I don't believe that for a second. We all know Sparks was not going to do well on Hot AC radio because it's not a Hot AC-leaning song whatsoever.

Sparks out peaked All About You in video streams, audio streams on Spotify and actually debuted on the Hot 100 based on very minimal airplay on a format that Sparks wasn't suited for and three performances. Imagine a carefully concocted promo plan and the right radio format behind it.

Also Stay in Love having any potential as a single?

It actually really bothered me how much she didn't help write on the album, I hope for the next album she's more involved in the writing process like she was ala Dignity or at the start of making the new album.

This is EXACTLY how I feel about all of these songs she didn't co-write. And this is what I was trying to say.

I like them but I don't feel like they're 100% personal since she didn't co-write them like she did with Dignity. This is why I don't want her to release them, I prefer when she is involved in the writing process.

BIBO is such a sad record, it's really hard listening to these songs sometimes and imagining what Hilary has been going through for the past 2 years but it also makes me wonder what her personal version of what happened with Mike is. The way Hilary spoke today when asked that stupid question for the umpteenth time about if she felt she had to choose between acting and singing really stung tbh. At the very least, it sounds like she will continue making music, but I don't see how she'll make money off of it if she's so worried about touring significantly.

Based on her reply today, I wonder if SHE'S even aware that Sparks didn't go for adds or get any push on Pop.

She just needs to take Pat's advice about how she needs both to fulfill parts of her and be content with that.

I don't think she's aware of anything. She also said "I feel so old trying to keep up with everything that's going on" and that "taking selfies is so exhausting!". I have no idea how "stupid" she really is in real life to not know how things work in the industry. She's been in the game for about 2 decades now. I know she used to have people that took care of all the numbers and the planning but she's an adult now and she fired everyone 8 years ago to be in charge of her life.

I wanna be done with her but I can't. I would be VERY surprised if she works on music again in early 2016.
