She was robbed of the main cast billing in Murder House. She was in 11 episodes. She was in 5 episodes of Asylum, which was the closest you get to your estimate. 10 in Coven, in a gigantic role, and 8 episodes on Freak Show, due to filming arrangements.

She is a huge part of the show, considering she's the best actress on it, too.

Excuse me cause I didn't check IMDb before posting She is a great actress and I didn't say anything implying otherwise but she was not a big part of the show, she died halfway through the Freak Show, she was in 5 episodes with probably not more than 30 minutes of screentime in Asylum etc. She is not on par with Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson or Kathy Bates for Ryan and you can't deny it.

That doesn't mean she doesn't play a huge part of the show. Myrtle played a giant part of Coven, and Moira was huge in Murder House. Even as Shachath and Gloria, her presence was still important. I can't argue with Jessica, since Ryan panders to her, or Sarah, since she's his pet, but she is definitely above Kathy.

Gaga wouldn't have been chosen for this if she was some horrible actress with dozens of panned previous roles and golden raspberries out the door. She's a fresh faced actress with tons of star power (obviously) who'll bring nothing but good to the show. I'll trust Ryan over these fomo.

Girl. This is a mess. Taissa has been in other roles, and she was horrid in both of her seasons. Ryan brought Patti LaBelle in for Freak Show when she has like 0 acting experience and he hyped the **** out of her for her name. He hired Neil Patrick Harris and crammed him in just so he could say that NPH was on his show when Neil was AWFUL as Chester who was also an AWFUL character.

You "trusting" him is something I was talking about; y'all are talking about the show hopefully because you clearly don't know Ryan. He's worse than any fomo.

And her "potential" is not something to base her acting on. I can't go ask to get hired because I have "potential" when no one knows what kind of acting I am. Your statement proves he's hiring her for her name alone. We don't need star power. We need good actors, and losing Lily & Frances, arguably the best on the show, is a terrible loss.

Yeah I'm not worried. The season will smash. Freakshow was bad bc it got stagnant & was full of crap, bad writing and dead plotlines. The cast needed to be rebooted at least in part. Gaga won't bring anything but excitement + the possibility of a great new actress to the show. The concept is a lot less alienating and camp than Freakshow, too.

Besides, literally EVERYONE was begging for a circus/carnival/freak show theme. It was not the overall theme that set it off. It's how Ryan does things. Ryan can't execute anything good past 2-3 seasons. AHS is absolutely no different. This optimism is ignorance.

A reboot might not be the worst thing as long as we get great actors for the rest of the cast. We shouldn't really freak out unless they announce three more terrible actors, or something.

Wes Bentley & Matt Bomer are good moves. They could've done amazing things in previous seasons if they were cast. But Gaga as a lead is so out of left field and strange because she has the least acting experience out of anyone put into the AHS main cast.

I really do hope the show is good. Don't think I WANT it to be bad. But every step Ryan's making with Hotel seems to be counterproductive. I can hope she's a good actress; if she is, I'll take it all back. I swear I will. But it really does not look good at this point, since all the best actresses are all but confirmed to be out (Lily, Frances, Sarah; Jessica's definitely gone) & we have a woman whose only serious acting experience is an unfinished year at Tisch as a lead role. How do y'all not see the concern?

The idea of "guests" will be what keeps people coming. Huge stars doing 1-2 episode cameos, etc. with Gaga as the woman in charge of the 'Celebrity Hotel'. Idk it sounds so damn cool to me. I'm hyped beyond belief and would love to just bookmark this whole page here!

I see a potential for a big mess, but I also see a potential for a big hit. We know how Ryan is, but for the sake of our sanity let's hope for the best.

I guarantee you we have at least one huge new actress coming. They wouldn't be keeping things so under wraps unless there were more secrets to spill.
