BoyOnBoy and Shapes, Lucy got a C+ Cinemascore. Could have been worse given all the accounts of how weird and not commercial it really is. Anyway, HUGE opening weekend. Go ScarJo! She can open a movie. And the budget was low for an action movie. Bring on Black Widow!
WAYYYY better than expected. I said I'd be surprised if it even got a C-. Looks like it could have legs after all! Bring on Black Widow, indeed. Scarlett deserves it after this amazing year that she's had.

Wow this is huge. She's definitely a movie star now. If only it had been a straightforward action movie that didn't weird people out. But she enjoys working with auteurs! Speaking of which, this will easily become Luc Besson's highest grossing movie.

and tbh Lucy is going down as one of the biggest surprises of 2014. I haven't been this shocked at a movie's success since Fast and Furious 4 made like $70,000,000 opening weekend
