What was wrong with Gone Girl ending? Sure it was over-the-top but I would prefer that to Nick exposing her and sending her to jail. Him killing her would have too predictable tbh, even though it could have worked too.

I loved Dark Places but it was kinda predictable to me, it was just so obvious Patty had something do with the killings, she focused on describing her as a weak person who wasn't a good mother and who would do something like that from the start. The debt angel thing was really cool though. Everyone else ( We were supposed to think Ben (which as the main characters surely wasn't), their father and Diondra's father were the possible killers so I crossed them off the list basically from the start) just fit too well to actually be behind it + as soon Diondra and Ben got into the house in the flashbacks I knew she probably killed that other sister who didn't die like the others.

I'm excited for the movie though, Charlize will kill it, she's the perfect actress to play Libby.
