What the ****? She can sold out 10 stadiums here, stop trying.
That's so true it's not even funny. I love how several people at ATRL like to talk about music related stuff in Brazil when they clearly know ZERO about it.
So, after the pollstar numbers were release, I was curious as to why they counted 10 dates as oppose to 8 dates like the time frame (01/01-06/30) says it would. My email message to them went as followed.

]I have a question about your recent numbers released from your "Concert Year (So Far)" article.
In your document for Top 100 North American Tours, you have Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Tour at 6.2 million for 10 dates. But the Article states it tracks concerts from 01/01-06/30. There were only eight shows that fell into that timeframe, was there a glitch or were two concerts outside of the criteria counted?
I appreciate any assistance provided.
I just checked my inbox, I had to blackout my email addy for the stalkers out there, but this is the response I received.
So apparently, they didn't have any of Britney's numbers but the ones reported to Billboard and made estimations from that. Due to lack of support and help from Britney's team....surprise surprise. .
They counted two of Britney's FREE promo shows done for the Femme Fatale album release. #hotmess
Remember gerls, you heard it here first. FOXAY went get the tea for the stans because I wasn't having that stale batch served to me last Friday.
My response to them went as followed (I just sent it to them minutes ago):

Thank you so much for answering my question, I honestly wasn't expecting to receive a reply. Poll Star's professionalism in showing regard to its readers is very much appreciated...very rare we see it in today's climate.
I know I am not her management or Live Nation, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to just give you a heads up about two dates that were included on that itinerary you attached to the email. The first two dates mentioned were apart of album promotion that she did the week before and of her release. The Rain nightclub @ The Palms Casino thing was MTV special at the club in Vegas, made for fans to go see Britney perform a few songs and party. The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium show in San Francisco was a "Good Morning America" special where she performed at the day of Femme Fatale's release.
I don't expect nothing in return, just thought I would say it for my own piece of mind. Thanks for clarifying things for me, I REALLY REALLY appreciate your help. Have a great day!
Yep! They didn't have any figures for the tour, but the ones reported to Billboard the past two weeks (LA and Portland). They made estimations based off of those numbers reported due to the lack of response by Britney's team.

So, basically for the extra two dates they estimated based on how much tickets have sold thus far?
They added two dates that weren't even tour dates to the figures and then proceeded to hand out estimations for those dates. They also didn't have the numbers from the other shows because no one from Britney's team got back to them. the numbers released were just estimations from two boxscores submitted to Billboard, which are impossible to analyze a tour from. Especially, two different demographics such as a Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California.
