meh I like the idea of her comeback performance at the VMAs, but I'm afraid she's just going to front load things again... her biggest hits have had more natural chart runs tbh she won't need promo for the lead, just let the hype do it. Then do a big performance for the second single and help avoid a Judas.

Lady Gaga isn't Britney Spears. She's not going to put out a single and let it just sit there for 2 months on its own.
I think front loading is almost inevitable for stars like her and Britney though, in the sense that they have big fanbases so they have huge starts. But that doesnt mean it cant have longevity if it latches on to the public and has a big cultural moment (hopefully at her VMA launch)

BR wasn't necessarily ideal for radio at the time though, but her massive video/performances made it a phenomenon. If she can do that again at the VMAs.. maybe the lead single can be almost as big.
I'm not gonna say as big since I don't wanna set ridiculous expectations. A BR-type moment would be hard to replicate, even with 2 years off and a VMA comeback
I think she'll announce dates mid/late July. Propagaga last year said ARTPOP promo would start in July, and given she seems to be sticking to that schedule, maybe thats what the "start" would be.
