I'm not mad. I'm still relaxing and trying to make the best out of it. They have a decent mall (Southpark) so I've done a lot of shopping and I've been tipsy/drunk for like the past 3 days. I mean I don't want to go to a completely ratchet place. I need my white people, but I need my black people too.
I'm not going to Greensboro. My ex goes to A&T and it'll be just my luck that I run into him.
Apparently northwestern NC is expecting bad weather so pretty much all of our plans have been ****ed up besides going to the beach and it'll be too cold to even really enjoy that... At least our hotel is nice and I look cute.
Otherwise, my LS is getting told off by everybody because it was her idea to come here... and how about she goes and hangs with her family and friends that stay here and leave us high and dry like bitch....
Georgia has Atlanta (whose metro area is huge), Columbus, Macon, Athens, Valdosta, and sometimes Augusta. They're either a college town or big enough to always have something interesting going on at least.

I'll give you that the weather as of now is horrid since I seen a few counties in the area get called for sleet this morning.
As for that last part, let's compare populations:
At 5 or so million, Atlanta's metro disproportionately has most of the state's population (and has 23 or so counties to boot.City wise,NC has some cities with pretty much the same population.Metro areas would be a wash since NC has more binodal metro areas or uncle Sam ended up ****ing us up when it comes up to drawing them.
GEORGIA
Columbus: 198,413 and the metro area is only 300-400k.
Macon: 91,234 (2012) and the metro has 222K
Savannah: 142,022 (2012) and just like Columbus the metro is between 300 and 400K
Valadosta: 54,518 (2010) and the metro has a paltry 138K
Athens: 118,999 (2012) and its metro has 192K people
NORTH CAROLINA:
Largest cities, 2012 Census Estimates
City Population
Charlotte: 775,202 (and the metro is about 2.2 Million people)
Raleigh: 423,179 (and the metro has about 1.8 Million)
Greensboro: 277,080 (Metro between 7 and 800K)
Durham: 239,358 (Metro Between 5 and 600K, and they share with Chapel Hill, the college town whose population is between 50 and 60k)
Winston-Salem: 238,156 (Metro has around 500k people)
Fayetteville: 202,103 (Military Town and the metro has 374K)
Cary: 145,693(<-- Mind you this city is essentially a big ass suburb that shares metro areas with Raleigh)
Wilmington: 109,922 (NC's version of Savannah)
High Point: 106,573 (Shares metros with GSO)
Greenville: 87,242 (Home To ECU)
Asheville: 85,712 (With a metro of 421K)
The reason why Atlanta's population BLOWS Charlotte's away can be attributed to two things. One: The sheer size of ithe metro (They have 20 or so counties while Charlotte's MSA has about half) partially thanks to that monstrosity of a highway known as I-285.
While Fulton County GA (Atlanta) and Mecklenburg County NC are essentially the same size and population, There is NO "DeKalb County" to Mecklenburg's Fulton county (Partially due to the fact that we DON'T have an i-285 size highway circling the area, I 485 barely circles Mecklenburg county)
Georgia in general is NOT that much more populated than NC.
Georgia (2013) 9,992,167 - North Carolina (2013) 9,848,060 = a measley 144,107 people, a little less than the population of Stepford (Cary)
