amber was seen as muse for one of the most polarizing and talented artists we'd seen in years. kim just represents all of the "uncultured" aspects of american society and the high-fashion community does NOT use her, at least openly. i'm sure she gets some of her fashion pieces for free because she's a great tool for publicity. but respect-wise, amber was waaaaay above kim.
