What would you prefer to be called?
I have no huge preference in the way some other members do; it's completely up to you. Either conatus or Connor (my real name, of course) are the ones most people use, but some have taken to Con or Connie due to their applicability to both.
Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
Nope! Before taking part in Platinum Hit 7, I had barely even visited the Games section outside of, maybe, three album survivors. Now I've competed in that, and I am also currently a judge in Holy Trinity.
What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member? Number one: Charting at #27 on the most recent Most Influential chart. Now, to some it may only be a chart of the most "relevant" people on an online forum, but what pleased me about it was that I seemed to have created such an online presence in such a short space of time.
Number two: No longer being messy. Since August 2014 (which I believe was the most recent time I was banned), I have accumulated only five warning points. Now, while that's still more than desired, compared to the 34 I accumulated between joining in January 2014, being banned twice, and cleaning up my act in August 2014 (Wow, what a mess.), I would like to think this proves I have become a lot more considerate, sensible, and rational in that time.
Number three: Overcoming my own crippling anxiety about showing people my writing to go on to become one of the most successful contestants in Platinum Hit 7. Now while it may just be a songwriting game on an online forum, it still means a lot to have people with no loyalty to me tell me that something I created is good.
Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think I am a Top Member because I am intelligent, unbiased, and opinionated. I am able to have a sensible and intelligent discussion without resorting to petty drags and irrelevant facts and figures. I always listen to the other side, and respond with cogent and clear arguments. I have a diverse music taste, too, as well as being interested in many other aspects of pop culture, such as film and fashion. I am someone whose loyalty does not lie with just one artist, and I see myself as someone who represents a wide range of different things, instead of just standing for just one facet of the site. I also like to think I have a good sense of humour, but I'll leave that up for debate.

I would like to be called ‘Lily’. Not ‘Tigerlily” because that’s ****ing hideous and Cupid ruined that for me. I’m pretty sure some hoes like Robbie (XOXO) will end up calling me by my real name ‘Ricardo’ though. So ‘Ricardo’ or ‘Lily’ is fine!
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place?
I have not competed in ATRL’s Next Top Member before. In fact, I didn’t know what the hell the game was about until I actually read up on it ten minutes prior to writing this application!
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
I would definitely say my top three personal highlights are turning the entire Taylor Swift fan base against me in their base, playing the iconic and infamous Create A Label game and being one of it’s most successful characters, and also dragging X/O/X/O for being a coke head bitch.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think I have an it factor and entertainment factor that some other people who signed up might lack. We all saw the drama I brought in Big Brother 11 when I fought Cupid and the other druggie. And simply because I feel like I have a lot of potential I still have yet to prove to myself and to other peoples. I cannot only be a mess, but I can also make quality posts and really bring something new to the table that might have not been there before. Not to mention, I’m funny and a cutie. Pick me. I won’t (will try not to) quit on you!

Before I answer the questions and fill out the proper application, I would like to say, I care to use this time in ATRL's Next Top Member as a time for redemption. I may have a reputation that can hold me back (or, even worse, no reputation at all, since anything note-worthy about me has happened long ago; though, most of the people that might've been affected by such things are still around the games section here, so perhaps it's still relevant), and I care to break past that. This application contains some comments that are still said out of bitterness and resentment over past events, both years ago or in recent times, and my goal is to let this application be the only place where that anger and contempt leaks out. I suppose I could include this little message in the fourth question, but it seemed appropriate to open up with it, as well.
And with that, I will go forth with the application's questions.
1. What would you prefer to be called?
My name doesn't matter to me so much as I know that you're referring to me. Some may know me by my previous names-- IfICannotLove, Love ♥, Forget the Loved, Donatella or Trouble., (The latter two of which I regularly consider returning to)-- while others may know me by the name of Robbie, or, if I know you personally enough, Robertson. However, that last one I would really prefer to not be called.
My last name is Trouble.
No my first name ain't Love It's Robbie
Donatella, if you're nasty
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place?
Yes. Cycle 7. I don't recall my placement, but I think it was between 12 & 10 due to the fact that I quit. It was an enjoyable time, and I really do regret quitting. I really hope to use this time here to show anything I wasn't able to get across in my short time in that cycle.
3. What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?l
1. Oshiish vs. the Clique-- With Knix Using Me as a Proxy
Starting HERE: http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13855&page=8546
My blog post: http://atrl.net/forums/blog.php?b=11878
My all-time favorite moment in ATRL history. I suppose I could be infamous for this, if anyone nowadays even remembers it, but it was a wild time. Oshiish claimed to have pictures and a YouTube video of Satellites, and the entirety of the Clique was planning on making him post it to get him banned. Even the moderator Lipton got into the situation, and was helping lure Oshiish into posting it. The second it was posted, Lipton banned him for 6 months, and everyone got a kii.
All the while, I was desperate for acceptance into the Clique, and Knix/Brielle, a member who was then permanently banned (I have no idea where he is now), said that I should let him use my account to post during this Oshiish chaos, and thinking it'd get me in with them, I did. He immediately revamped the account, changing my avatar, posting style & so on, before moving on to lashing out at Oshiish and creating threads predicting Oshiish's "DEATH" due to the obviously impending ban. Shortly after Oshiish was banned, the moderators caught on and realized Brielle was using my account, and banned me for one month. Members started to question the situation, wondering what was going on, and began to question if I ever existed at all, believing I might have always been a duplicate account of Brielle's. Unfortunately, no one had the common sense to realize that I joined a while after Brielle and that he wasn't even permanently banned until well after I became a member, and that I had posted many pictures of myself in PYP verifying my identity. One particular member, WIG-SNATCHER, attempted to act like he had all the tea on the matter and pretended to be in the know about it despite him only working off of other people's statements and pulling words out of his ass. It was a disaster, and hilarious.
Nearing the time the one-month ban was to expire, another 3 months was suddenly added on when the mods decided that was fitting for sharing an account (boosting my total ban time to 4 months, leaving 1 month unaccounted for), and in another fit of desperation, I created a duplicate account under the name of ToxiK SeX, and quickly made a few posts before being banned again, adding another 3 months onto my main account's ban, making a grand total of 7 months of ban time, resulting in me not being unbanned until the new year. However, that still leaves one month unaccounted for.
In the end, I think it was hilarious. Cringe-worthy, definitely, but hilarious all the same.
2. Credit Card Girl
I was banned at the time, but I was still viewing the thread to witness it occur. Everyone should know what happened at the time. It was one of the most interesting, entertaining and iconic moments in the history of ATRL. Of course it's going to make it here.
3. ATRL Big Brother 11 | A Twisted Tale
This entire game was a hot mess. I admit I'm still a bit better about it (although I'm hoping to move on from it starting from the moment I send this application), but I still believe it to be a highlight. It could've been entertaining from an outsider's point of view, and I can see that. It was golden, but terrible all the same.
Between the fights between Ricardo (tigerlily) and I, that he constantly tried to claim were joking so that no one would believe he was really being skulldragged (despite them being entirely genuine no my side), or Cupid feeding information to a rival alliance to mine (Including telling them who a mole from our alliance was), including making certain challenges skewed into their favor (and it not working out anyway), or the highlight of the game where two members of Cupid's favored alliance were voted out (and not even the strongest players) and the alliance fell apart, resulting in them all quitting (some even before the results of the vote due to Cupid telling one of the members the results ahead of time, as confirmed by the alliance members themselves). It was chaotic, it was dramatic, it was infuriating, but it was fantastic.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
My youth is one of my stronger points, though I suppose one could say it's one of the weaker ones as well. Other members constantly try and try again over their times, and their time has come and gone, and come and gone again. I'm still on the rise. I still have potential and a world ahead of me, and ATRL very much is a part of that world I hope to endure. While I've been less active recently, I plan to rise up again, and that moment starts with this game. I care to use it as a platform, not for popularity, but to make myself a better ATRL member.
I know I've had a reputation, as mentioned at the very beginning of this application. I don't know whether or not my reputation lives on; I can't say it precedes me. A year or so ago, I'd be known as the messy young kid with colorful long hair who possibly tried a little too hard. And now, I care to redeem myself from that messiness and that which has ensued and continued onto today. One could say ATRL's Charm School would be better, but this seems like the ideal space to make myself a better member, and to prove to everyone that I really can be one.
Thank you for your consideration.

What would you prefer to be called?
You can just call me lovesong!
Or you can shorten it however you like, if ya nasty.
Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
No, this is my first time competing although I followed along last season.
What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
First -Best of 2014.
Although I had done a Best of the year before, the one that I held last year was my biggest, partially because I stretched it out (A top 40 singles turned into top 100 ), but also because of how it was a great opportunity for me to share more about myself and to connect with some great people who I've stayed in touch with even today.
Second - Cool Kids | New Producers Rate.
Rates are a big part of my experience in ATRL, either I'm participating or in some cases hosting. Usually I get together a nice following of around 15-20 people and it becomes a lot of fun going back and forth with them. I love to host and to plan graphics, and in this particular rate I had so much fun with the colourful graphics and layout and the great discussion we had.
Third - Platinum Hit 7.
My first ATRL Game. I only recently decided to venture into the Games section as I wanted to meet more people and make the most of my time on ATRL. When I signed up I was not expecting to be in a game with over 60 other contestants and additionally, I hadn't even written a true song before then so I was NOT expecting to do well. Turns out, I'm a finalist! In my first game ever I have somehow made it into the top 3. I've achieved everything I set out to achieve, and more.
Why do you think you are a Top Member?
Well, to me a Top Member isn't always the most popular or the biggest. A Top Member is someone who can connect easily with a great amount of the ATRL population, and also is in some way representative.
See, I signed up a LONG time ago, in 2011, when I was very young and when it was my first time being in a forum. I tried desperately to fit in something that ultimately backfired on me and resulted in some very cringeworthy posts. Once I started to be myself and not care about impressing others, I began to gain traction, soon people actually talked to me and I felt like part of the community and now people actually know me!
I may not be the funniest, or the messiest, but I'm definitely not trying to be, and I think that works in my favour, that's my brand. I'm just... lovesong.

three highlights of your time as an ATRL member? ========================== one. Being voted "Stan of the Year" at the Carrie
Stan Awards. Granted, we're a small fanbase, and
it doesn't carry a lot weight in the ATRL community,
but for me personally it was a great honor and a
showcase of my dedication to Carrie.
two. Being featured in the New ATRL mockups.
The elusive update has become notorious among
ATRLers, but who needs the real deal when your

Joking aside; to me, a top member is someone
who stands out and offers something new to
the site, whether it's through humor, gifs, or who
they stan for. As a female, feminist Carrie and
Eurovision stan, I think I have the potential to
stand out from a crowd and transform from a
run-of-the-mill poster to a Top Member; one
that people will remember. I feel like I bring
something new to the table, and if I play my
cards right, I could become synonymous with

In spirit, I'd like to consider myself the dupe of all of the past winners. So naturally I'm looking to win again. But no this is my first time competing in ANTM and also the second game (PLΔTINUM HIT 7 being the first) I've joined on ATRL. I'm more of a Lounge/Celebria/Videos member but I'm expanding my visits here. Hopefully I can become a regular here too.

The first personal highlight for me is when I jumped right into the mod search of 2014 when I was a new member. I had no idea who anyone was or how the forum really worked, but I still felt the sense of a community that supported each other and that's what drew me to this forum. I'm not afraid to include myself into discussions and although I was completely wrong I still like to be involved. I chose this as my first highlight because it shows the naivety in my personality and that's a huge part of who I am. My friends make fun of me all of the time because I can be misguided but I have a lot of passion and that's what people admire most about me.

Bullying is bullying no matter WHERE it happens. at least she did it on TV
Y'all are weak. I'll defend her by myself idc. At least I can do it in person too
Welp my application turned into a self-drag app. I chose the Natalia Kills fired from X-factor thread as my second personal highlight because it was the first time I participated in a large thread on ATRL. I was also one of the only three members defending Natalia I didn't agree with what she did but it was the first time I saw so many members openly drag someone outside of SYG and none of the mods stopped them so I took matters into my own hand (and then I logged out when I realized it wasn't working lol...). Now looking back at the thread I find it hilarious and I learned not to take most of these members so seriously. I think that was the biggest thread I've ever participated in besides PH actually.
I chose my sign-up post as my third personal highlight on ATRL because I never would have guessed that I'd become ANTM 13th Winner! Kidding but as I mentioned above I've never been a regular in the Games section. I didn't even know what this section was because it didn't interest me until I had a few members recommend that I check it out. Outside of the drama that comes along with playing a game here, this section and the members are cool so of course I'd wanna join. I have a feeling that this thread will easily become a highlight for me on ATRL so bookmark me.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think that I am a Top Member because I'm a leader. I don't follow the crowd and I remain true to who I am. I think that it is important that a Top Member is someone who not only stands out from the other members but they are also respectable members. I consistently try to contribute something of value to the conversation in any thread that I post in. The best way to sum up my reasoning is I think, therefore I am. I look forward to seeing if I have what it takes to make it until the end (if I get through apps first) so thank you for the opportunity!

It's my first time. #freshmeat 3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
I was never big on stan culture, so it was a turning point when I started being very active in the Pokémon thread, started engaging a lot more with other members. Getting to know other people who shared my same interest in Pokémon, of all things. I have tried Reddit and 4chan , but I feel ATRL has special a Pokémon community; mostly due to the same stan lingo is used about Pokémon. That thread allowed me to find incredible people. For this reason, the close friendships I’ve made, are my second and biggest highlight as an ATRL member: When I met Drip and BlooRiverAnimal, they have become some of my closest friends; we talk almost everyday.
Meeting and continuing to develop a deeper connection with them is my biggest highlight as a member on ATRL. My most recent highlight has to be joining ANTM. I’m so out of my comfort zone, in a game where I’m relatively unknown. I have never feared a challenge nor hard work. I’m more than ready for what experiences this game will bring! 4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I am a top member, because my post show honesty, which is a nice change to the constant passive aggressive posts that plague ATRL. I post what I feel, no bs, because who really has the time and energy to put on an act. Just be direct. But really I have toned down with the level of intensity of how honest i am, since I joined a little more than four years ago. I realized that ATRL is not the same place it was and there are members who do not have the skin thick enough to brush comments off. Being able to adapt to the drastic changes of ATRL not only shows I am a top member, but I am someone who shouldn't be slept on.

Even though here most people know me as Theus, in real life I prefer to be called Matt or Matty [Don't get confused with the host and the moderator], I never liked to be called by Matthew for some reason.
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
No, this is my first time ever actually which is why i'm so exicted about it!
3. What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
The first one would be making avis/gifs in general I guess, I usually do take requests on the GIF request thread, I even made a blog to save all [well almost all] avis that I have made so far, if you want to check them just click here! If you want me to make something, just ask.
The second one it's probably being a regular participant on music rates and rates in general even though I never made one myself but I would like to host onem they seem to be fun, intersting and you are able to know more about other members taste on a artist or/and musical genre. Earlier this year Ace allowed me to host one but I declined because I didn't had time to host it because of my work and now I can't because I currently hosting a rate.
[Not a music one and if you are reading this **** you Wonderlust for leaving me all alone with this **** you little bitch I know you are ignoring me and Guernica on Tumblr because of that Aeon of Storm rip off]
The final and last one would be being well an regular Random Thoughts poster, that one Shania Twain stan or the guy that I usually around when Carly Rae's name is mentioned [What kind of D.M.F and Christina teas?]
But anyway my third highlight as an ATRL member is talking a lot with members on their walls about, well, anything. Why? Usually during the weekends my brother go with to a party with his friends and I have to stay awake because he's very drunk when he comes back and let's jsut say things get messy if I ain't there to help him so my nights during weekends are basically talking with strangers on the internet to keep me awake while watching episodes of Dora the Explorer because there is literally nothing better on TV.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I don't see myself as the top member but I do have potential to become one. Well, first of all because unlike some other members
A:
B: Even though I still new to the games section and my experience on this part of the forum is minimal and still sort of new to the forum even though I have been one year already here, one of the reasons I do think I have potential to become the top member is that I get along easy with almost everyone here and I always keeping, well most of the time, everything classy so you guys won't regret if you guys pick me! Plus is always good to have someone new.

III. What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
I didn't expect anything from ATRL. I thought it would be a little fun to stop lurking and join the conversations. But I've been pleasantly surprised by how rewarding my time here has been. Since I only have to pick 3 personal highlights of my time here, I'll go with:
1. New friends
Many are scared of social media and forums but I believe that what you put in is what you get.
I've been myself since the beginning and I was very pleased that my personality attracted many other members who started talking to me on my wall or via messages and I now consider them as real life friends that I talk to and text with several times a week outside of this website.
2. ATRL Top Critic
Being selected as one of the few Top Critics for our version of metacritic, atrlcritic, meant a lot to me. It showed me that people were interested in what I had to say and it being about music made it even better.
3. Best Of 2014
Music is a very important part of my life. This may sound cheesy but I can't live without it and I devote a crazy amount of time, money, and energy to this art form. I love discovering new music and sharing the music I love, so when I had the opportunity to do so for the first time on ATRL, I ran with it and I slayed. I still can't believe how well ATRLers responded to my countdown and how they made it one of the most successful Best Of on this site even though this was my first time hosting such thing. IV. Why do you think you are a top member?
When I joined ATRL in January 2014, I straightaway felt at home because I've been a fervent pop culture enthusiast for years. I've never been shy to express myself and I believe, I also immediately started leaving a good impression because I ended up winning Best Self Titled Bee at the last Hive Awards beating veterans and beloved members like Lose My Breath and Satellites.
However, I now want to spread my Top Member wings and leave my mark on the entire forum, and winning ANTM is the launchpad that I need. I know I'm ambitious enough to do it, focused enough to apply myself into all the challenges and excited, playful and kind enough to do it while having fun and making new friends.
My other favorite act is Coldplay. I know this is an odd pairing but it comes from growing up in many different countries and being exposed to different cultures. I believe that was a blessing because I now enjoy a wide variety of music and can easily interact with others, two great qualities every Top member should possess.

I have not.

Q3:
What are your personal top three highlights as an ATRL member?
Answer:
1. My first selection is my weekly top 10 countdown, which I'm submitting in lieu of my best of 2014 thread (all of my graphics are gone, I'm so pissed). Both YTT and YEC are standout features on ATRL that give members a chance to share their love for various songs and artists. More than that, though, my early endeavors in these areas encouraged me to learn more about how to create tables and use other formatting codes (examples evident in both the linked post and the thread OP), and they've also prompted me to experiment with creating my own graphics. I made the graphics that you see in my top artists chart, and I think that they're some of my best—and coolest—yet.
2. Another of my favorite features on ATRL are the various rates, Best of the Best, and year-end events that Ace Reject has popularized through the years. Participating in these threads can be great fun, but they also provide an excellent opportunity to discover new music and encourage people to pause and think about what makes a good song.
Hosting one of these events can be a really enjoyable—and sometimes challenging—endeavor. Through my years here, I've hosted a handful of rates (which I've just realized were all for female country artists; I'm so niche), but my Fantastic Fours Mega-Rate was definitely a standout. Including the fourth studio albums of six female acts, the rate was a successful attempt to bring together the six most successful country female acts of the millennium and showcase their outstanding talent. Other rates that I've hosted have attracted more participants, but Fantastic Fours was my most ambitious, and most rewarding, rate hosting experience to date.
3. At the start of the year, I had the privilege of hosting the 4th annual Taylor Nation Awards. It was a great gig for me not only because I got to utilize some of my organizational skills, but also because I love having the opportunity to shower praise and recognition on my fellow disciples.
Aside from that, the thread also highlights my creativity, humor, and, yes, even my subtle shadiness. Most notably, I came up with each of the award titles myself—all of them are taken from lyrics of Taylor's 1989 album. My personal favorites are the "Died of Thirst Award" (taken from the lyrics of "Clean," and presented to the biggest attention-seeker), and the shady awards for fans of other artists (Britney Spears? She's just "Some Other Girl." Gaga? "Who is She?").
I should probably also humble-brag about the fact that I took home four awards from my nine nominations, including a win for The Lights Are So Bright Award (for most popular stan), as well as ties for The Fella Over There (top male fan) and Disciple of the Year (the show's top award). As nice as it is to be held in such high regards by my fellow stans, my favorite part of the show was actually seeing others win—I love seeing members of our fanbase positively recognizing one another and I try to use my visibility amongst Her fans to encourage such behavior.
Side note. Applicant Era created all of the graphics that revealed the nominees (here), and also designed the "catues" (yes, that's a corny play on words) that were presented to the winners. His talent is simply remarkable.
The Lord >
I love the Lord
Q4:
What makes you a TOP MEMBER?
Answer:
I've spent the past four years building a reputation as a reliable, likeable member who can be serious without necessarily always taking things too seriously. I've been told that I'm one of the more popular and easily distinguishable members of our pop overlord Taylor Swift's fan base, and I'm fairly well known for always capitalizing any pronoun that refers to Her. However, even though I'm known primarily as one of Taylor's disciples, I'm still recognizable as a fan of other artists (including Shania Twain, Cher, Madonna, Kylie, and perhaps just country music in general). I love that people know me as more than just a Taylor stan because although She is my main fave, my musical interests extend so much further.
I don't think that being a top member should just be about having a reputation for being shady, or having a certain "brand" image to make yourself stand out (although both of these things play their part), but that it should be about making the absolute most of your membership on this site. In my eyes, being a top member means that you use the site to listen to new things, learn about pop culture/music/history, and discuss the things you love, as well as to interact with other members and establish positive relationships with them.
If it weren't for ATRL, I doubt that I'd even listen to Madonna, nevermind the fact that she is now my fourth most played and second favorite artist ever. I had no idea what she'd done for pop music and pop culture before joining this site, and I've since developed a great appreciation for her (something not too many members seem to have, for some reason).
And ATRL has done more than broaden my musical horizons and increase my knowledge of pop culture. As a forum, it's provided me with good friends—a handful of whom I regularly interact with outside of the site, and three of whom I even met in person at a recent 1989 Tour stop (hi Vespie ).
I'm of the opinion that a top member should take advantage of every opportunity that the site provides, and I like to think that I do so. The previous examples indicate just a few of the ways that I've sought to make the most of what ATRL has to offer, and I believe that participating in ATRL's Next Top Member would allow me to further experience the best of what ATRL has to offer.

This will be my first time competing in ATRL's Next Top Member!
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
1) Stanning for Katya Zamolodchikova and having awful avis of hers that always make the Worst Avi thread.
2) Calling TMZ and shutting down Lucia Cole's wikipedia page.
3) Almost getting the Pokethread shut down after first joining as everyone was being very messy at the time.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I'm a very well rounded poster here at ATRL. I've started threads in almost every section and try to regularly post in every section as well. I participate in as many music rates I can, I have a successful year end countdown for two years, I've played fantasy draft games, spilled the T on new albums and singles from my faves, yet I've never been banned nor close to being banned before.

There are a lot but I need to pick three of them:
1. The Winner of Best Moment Award in the 2nd Annual Game Awards
2. The Most Remembered Q Member
3. The Host of The Bad Girls Club Game
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think I have what it takes to be a Top Member, I tend to be nice, loving and caring even when people don't see that in me, I like to be messy and humorous maybe because that's just the way I am, I get along with all of the bases in here (Monsters, swifties, Katy cats, beyhive, navy, etc...) and the diversity of my personality is just enough for me to be a Top Member. Even though I won awards and most of the members here recognize me, I am still unknown to some of the sections, and hopefully getting through the application process is going to help me grow throughout the game.

2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place?
I played in Cycle 12 and withdrew from the competition. (If I had been properly eliminated it would've made me 9th place).
3. What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
The biggest highlight of my time on ATRL would be the friends I made. I know that's a cliché answer, but I have made some incredible friends between bases, rates and games. People I talk to off-site and hope to stay in contact with for a long time, and people who have made my ATRL experience so much more enjoyable.
Another big ATRL highlight for me is the change to my music taste. I don't wanna show how tragic my iTunes was circa 2011, but now, thanks to rates and other games (like BotB and ATRL March Madness) and just suggestions from people I like and respect, it has expanded to be much more varied and interesting.
In the Games section, playing ATRL Elite was such a highlight for me, that may sound weird, but it was just so much fun for me. Me and a bunch of my friends entered together and it was my first real ATRL game. The challenges were enjoyable, they motivated me and revived my faltering interest in my fave, and I was really proud of my work even though I didn't win. It inspired me to apply for this game.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
Last time I did this I talked about my "experience" and "growth", but I think that I can be better described as improved. Maybe not everyone sees it, but I think year-upon-year, week-upon-week I'm improving. Even since last cycle, I think I've improved greatly and maybe you don't believe me, but I have had a big attitude shift since then, and I truly think that was my problem the last time I played: my attitude. I've re-branded myself in a more positive light because now I know that I can be the witty, funny and shady person that I am without being cruel, rude or hurtful.
I have given rough first impressions in the past, but underneath it all I think I am a charismatic member. Usually I'm quite laid-back, I don't do stan wars any more and I'm just content to share my thoughts on a topic and move on without worries. Don't mistake this for laziness though, I do get very serious when necessary, and I'm very driven with the things I'm passionate about. I'm ready to work for this title, twice as hard this time, and there will be no more excuses or complaining and especially no dropping out. I hope you see that I am ready to make up for last time and I hope that you do take a chance on me.
And if you are worried about my dedication, I just came off as runner-up in ATRL's Big Brother 11.
(The second time I've been runner-up in your games Cupid, I think you owe me something for the emotional distress).

1. What would you prefer to be called?
Era! I love my username a lot and even though I did not put much thought into it when I signed up but now it's just become my trademark and it's just me. Though people who know me personally also call me Anvay (my real name).
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
No, this is my first time competing.
3. What do you consider your own personal top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
In chronological order:
1. Winning the second season of "The Photoshop Game": CLICK
2. Designing the Base OP for my favourite artist Taylor Swift: CLICK
3. Scoring the #1 song 'Silver Lining' and making the Top 10 in Platinum Hit 7 was a really special moment for me. As I had never written a song before this competition and then outlasting 57 contestants and making the Top 10 and even scoring a #1 song felt really amazing:
The Song:
[Verse 1] Walking through the rain with the traffic on a high
My blue dress all wet and a book covered my head
I saw you giving out flyers for a work place nearby
Wandering towards you but ended up stumbling instead
Helped me back up, swept me away with your sweet smile
Walked me home and asked “can I see you tonight?”
[Pre-chorus] I said meet me at the bus stop
When the rain simmers down
Through the flickering city lights
We’ll take the bus downtown
[Chorus] You grabbed my hand and we went chasing the stars
Higher than the skyscrapers, faster than the cars
Countless voices in the crowd but I only heard yours
A million bright lights but not one brighter than ours
I put on my dreamy crown and you wore your armor shining
I was the queen of the clouds and you were my silver lining
[Verse 2] In our big city small world we woke up every street
Put my hand on your shoulder as you pulled me closer
Dancing around the fountains to our racing heartbeat
I wish the night never ended, wish I stayed longer
[Pre-chorus] I said meet me at the station
When the sun comes back around
Through the smoke clouds
I’ll take the train back to town
[Chorus] You grabbed my hand and we went chasing the stars
Higher than the skyscrapers, faster than the cars
Countless voices in the crowd but I only heard yours
A million bright lights but not one brighter than ours
I put on my dreamy crown and you wore your armor shining
I was the queen of the clouds and you were my silver lining
[Bridge] You stood there with a letter in your hand
I whispered while I walked towards you
Please stop me while you can
Why don’t you understand?
You smiled as I started moving away
I could see it in your eyes
What I wanted you to say
Kept looking at you until you faded away
[Chorus] You grabbed my hand and we went chasing the stars
Higher than the skyscrapers, faster than the cars
Countless voices in the crowd but I only heard yours
A million bright lights but not one brighter than ours
I put on my dreamy crown and you wore your armor shining
I was the queen of the clouds and you were my silver lining
You were my silver lining
[Outro] You wrote I didn’t want to hold you back
I’ll never forget you and I hope you won’t forget me
I’ll always be your silver lining
On every cloud you’ll find me
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think I can perform really well in challenges as I'm very competitive. I always try to give my best in everything I do and make sure I do all I can to make it perfect. I know my strengths I know how to use them and I want to share my talents + I'm willing to work on my weaknesses.

2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place?
(if you placed winner, runner-up, or third place, your application will automatically be declined)
I applied for a previous season (Cycle 11 I think?) but unfortunately did not make it.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
1. I was runner-up on my first game ever, The Hunger Games Season 2. Even though I didn't win, I was really proud of my gameplay, seeing that I basically ran the entire game with just two other allies and secretly punched out everyone else without them knowing since they were pre-occupied trying to kill off the two other big alliances.
2. Being frequently mentioned in the Worst AVI's thread. This might not sound like an accomplishment to some, but to me it is. My AVI of MirandaSings is now very well known and even though people don't like it, it still stays on people's minds and gets them talking. Although I must admit, my first Miranda AVI is far more iconic than me current one.
3. Making friends would be my last highlight. There's this Kik that I'm in with several other ATRL members where we have been talking for over a year now. I think it's pretty cool that I made great friends in a place where I never expected to. I even ended up meeting one of these people in real life (Umich) and it's crazy to think about because you never really think about the person behind the AVI or the posts. Turns out he's just as nice and as genuine in person as he is on ATRL.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think I'm a top member because I'm real. Just like my fave Kesha, on ATRL I'm known as being one of the most outspoken and brash members on here and I'm not afraid to speak my mind even when it comes to controversial topics. Just by reading my username, one might get that about me seeing that it has the word "ganja" in it, because yes I smoke weed and no I'm not ashamed to admit that.
I've been banned multiple times, get warning points often, and might not have the best reputation when it comes to people having an opinion about me and even then, I do not change the way that I am. I'm a top member on here because I'm part of the 1% who has different political views than everyone else on here and have always stuck to my beliefs even if others might call me out on them. I might not have as many "impressive" accomplishments that others may have such as winning games, being on various best members lists, or being that popular. But what I do have, are real life friends and experiences that could have only started since I joined ATRL.
A top member isn't necessarily about having a list of accomplishments, it's about believing that you stand out from the pack and that others can see you for who you are and not being afraid to hide it.
Thank you for letting my sign up and I hope judges that you can consider me to have a place in this game.

Never! First time applicant.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
This is kinda of hard for me. Within the span of a year, I feel like i've accomplished a lot on ATRL. Kinda weird saying that, but oh well x
1) Placing 26th on the 100 most influential list of the current decade.
I was SHOCKED. I had literally been a member for 7 months (banned for one of them hihi) and I charted. It's definitely my biggest highlight so far. It catapulted me from being just a regular member, to someone that everyone knew.
2) Winning the Hunger games
The first time i've ever won a game. I was so happy, I felt like I was cursed. Forever placing 2nd or 3rd. But winning this game was not really shocking. I played a phenomenal social game and was never a big target.
3) Placing 3rd in Les Atrlers, season 3.
Despite the messy ending, and all of the scandal that ran ramped throughout the last few round of the season, I made the final 3. Beating out one of the biggest competitors of the season (T-Swizz hihi) This game for those who don't already know, is kinda like a miniature ANTM mixed with Big Brother. I made the finals with one of our very own judges, umich. I know some may not consider this a highlight, but I do. When I entered that game, I figured i'd be eliminated that same week. But, that obviously didn't happen. I proved to myself, and to everyone else, that I can do well in multi-format games.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I feel like I have accomplished a lot on this site, despite only being here for a little over a year. I am a top member for the simple fact that I am extremely recognizable. From my avatar, to my signature, to even my posting style. I have influenced many members (who have copied me smh). My avatar is one of the most recognizable on the site (the many renditions of my avatar, none of which I made 12345) It is considered to be one of the best (2nd year in a row being nominated for best avatar at the member awards.) I have several iconic .pngs/jps 1 23 One thing notable about me is that I try to stay out of petty stan drama. I never relied on anything attention seeking to become "popular" or whatever. I just relied on myself, and if you love me, that's cool. And if you hate me, you know me. That's all that matters.
This past year, I placed 12th on the power 100 members list, continuing my streak on the chart, and being one of the few members that placed within the top 30 previously to place higher. I have accomplished a lot, like I said, but I still feel like I have a lot to prove. I feel like i'm not taken seriously. People see my as the guy who posts "hehehohohohihihihi" and has Ralph Wiggum as their avatar. But i'm more than that, and I want to prove to everyone that I am more than that.

I have never competed in ATRL's Next Top Member, however I have read over the previous season's thread and am familiar with the competition.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
1. Experiencing the mess of numerous threads. Some examples include the Roar/Applause meltdowns, Azealia Banks "I Want My Label To Think I'm Dead" thread, and popstar conspiracy theories
2. Recently starting to compete in games. I think it's the best way to meet new members, have fun and be messy with other members and build friendships and credibility.
3. Connecting with members of my own fanbases in the Base section. Sounds cheesy, but you meet a lot of interesting and incredible people on ATRL.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I certainly do not think I am a Top Member as of now, but I believe I have the potential to be a Top Member in the future. I have been a member for just over a year and a half, and have familiarized myself with every place on ATRL. Even though I have had a small amount of time on this forum compared to a lot of other members, I firmly trust that I have grown on ATRL. Early 2014, I was strictly a stan arguing with other member in Celebria and Music News. As time passed, I have grown into new secitons of ATRL including the Games Section, Blogs, and The Lounge. I have faith that if I am chosen for ANTM, that I will grow fully into the ATRL community and be allowed to be authentic and learn the ropes from other top members on this great forum.

3. What do you consider your own personal

Getting reported for something warnable with a 6 month ban and surviving #YallTried
Being a finalist in the ongoing PH7 (the biggest game on atrl)

Nope!
3. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
The past year has been a constant push. Being pushed into situations I do not like, but having no choice but to go with them. Being pushed on, because I showed what I was capable of and more is wanted of me because of it. Being pushed away because feelings have changed.
I used to hate being pushed. I found it hard because I wasn’t always the biggest fan of change. Pushing means moving from one point to another, and that things are thereby changing. But by being pushed, you're making headway. It's a form of progress and moving towards something. You may not necessrily know what it is. But isn't that better than being stationary? What is to gain from being idle?
I realized later on that living a life of changes whether they are for better or worse means much more to me than the transient lack of comfort you feel once you step out of your comfort zone. As a top member, it's almost a pre-requisite to possess the ability to deal with the good, the bad, & the ugly. So, I will push. And continue to be pushed. Pushing myself to go for better. To be better.
4. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
1. Initiating the first official Beyhive blog (which was subsequently deleted after a mere couple of weeks, thanks Matty!)
2. Peaking at #62 on the 2015's ATRL Power 100
3. Placing top four in the first large tournament I participated in (Les ATRLer)

I came in 8th Place in Cycle Eleven & in Cycle Twelve I came in 14th. AKA: Dead last. & Speaking of which, I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize one more time for not only the wifi problem, but for falling asleep right after attempting to send it. It was my fault & I take full responsibility for it. Also sorry to the few that were actually rooting for me to do well in the competition.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
1. Being recognized at Special ATRL Events
This year I was nominated for 3 ATRL Member Awards: Best Female, Funniest & Breakthrough Member of the year. & Last year I won Best Female. In Addition to the Member Awards, I've also been nominated for a Source Award, 2 Katy Cat Awards & won at the Hive Awards & the Cher Crew Awards(Shout out to Citrus). It's not winning that makes it the biggest highlight, it's just being recognized & realizing that people actually like me enough to nominate me for those kind of things. Also ranking #30 on the Power 100 this year falls into the same category.
2. Being The top Brandy stan on ATRL
This is a highlight because every since I first joined i've openly stanned for her (Which lemme tell you, is not an easy thing to do with her being made fun of and all) & I think it's unintentionally become apart of my ATRL persona & that when she's posted about on here, i'm who is associated with her. Like if you go into a Brandy thread you might see my name mentioned somewhere in the thread & as a stan I take pride in that. Poor Monica & Aaliyah stans
3. Just Being here in general/"meeting" people
Honestly this might sound cliche af, but I just like being on ATRL. I've come on almost everyday since January 1st, 2014 & It's just a fun place to be. There's a place for everyone here basically. there's fun people & personalities in every section of the forum & that's the kind of enviornment i like to surround myself with. not only online, but in real life as well. Ya'll better slay.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I think i'm a top member because of my personality. I get along with most everyone & most members like me. I rarely ever have a run in with others. I also think that I'm fairly unpredictable. You don't know if you'll get a mess or an actual serious conversation with me. In a forum full of people that kiss ass too much or are overly messy, I fall right into place without falling into the background of everything and everyone. I also never give up (hence the third try out) just know that I'll be back again to try out if I don't make it this time. Fingers Crossed I make it though. I'm very tenacious & I like to improve myself, which is something i've been able to do without straying from myself.
Thank you for your time

There is no introduction needed for our next applicant. Please give it up for, FunkyDinevo
.
Hiiiii, my name is Avery (what y'all can call me) in case you all forgot
I've competed and placed 4th in Cycle 10 aka Cycle of DOMINO’s layouts and meltdowns and Rem vs. Kitt.
- Highlights -
Obviously Cycle 10 of ANTM.
I was a newbie; only a member for 2-3 months when I signed up, so that was my first real exposure of what it takes to be a top member. I built connections with some members (some of them being top members) and was viewed more than the ratchet newbie (since this took place a few weeks after registration opened). It was also my first major tournament, so it really opened up the doors. .....
...
...
Ahh, the ATRL Swirl Club. This is back when PYP was around and I was part of the PYP Crew along with H-I-M. This was also when multiple tinychats with Cupid, kyleaustin, Latch, MissBottom Melvin were held. Iconic moment in (my) ATRL herstery. PYP was my thread that I settled in. Like Nicole with SYG and Save-Me-Oprah with ATRL HQ, it was H-I-M and FunkyDinevo with PYP. That thread contributes to any notoriety that I have. .....
...
...
Random Thots Awards.
It was my first (and only thus far ) ATRL award nomination of any kind. And the fact that I was nominated for two awards (Best avi and Most Underrated) shows the type of impact I have, even though it might be small. Some impact is better than none at all. That award show showed the top member potential I have. Hell, some of those members who were nominated in the Random Thot Awards went on to bigger award shows like The Most Influential of 2014-2015 and the Member Awards. This marked only the beginning of a very funky legacy.
- Me. I Am Avery... The Elusive Top Member -
First, to make it to the top 4 of ANTM when only being a member for 2-4 months…#impact. Hugamari also mentioned that he thought I was a seasoned ATRLer with my entries alone.

Take this time to grow and experience ATRL more, continue to find yourself, then come back for vengeance! I'm proud of you!
I took his advice and took some time to expand myself (and my brand ) around ATRL, and became a seasoned member. Now with being a member for nearly 2 years, I gained more experience, found myself, and explored some ways that I can contribute to ATRL (i.e. new hit gifs, new smilies, thread ideas, new events, etc.). Hell, to be recognized in some fashion whether it be my avatar and/or posting style, it means I won't become like some of those members who just fade into the background. When people recognize you, you have the chance to create a (bigger) platform for yourself, and simply become a top member of ATRL.
I’ve got acquainted with the community, got messy, gathered tons of Vulgar/Graphic warning points, went through different eras
(right now I’m going through my Hardcore and The Notorious Kim era)
I used to be scared of the Points
now I throw lips to the ****
handle it like a real bitch
Don'tcha like the way I roll and play with my Points
Tell me what's on your mind when your tongues in the Funky
Is it Vulgar, damn, this bitch is bad
Graphic points, damn, I love that ass
Plus, a Top Member can offer something valuable to the site whether it be: Kitt's empowering threads, Matty and foxaylove's (and Retro, I guess) moderator potential, Monte's toilet stories, etc. And hey, who knows, maybe my knowledge in I.T. and data analytics (multiple regression, linear regression, matched samples, comparison of two means, etc.) can provide some usefulness for ATRL.

1. What would you prefer to be called?
DEFINITELY Rider, I've come to the conclusion that this IS my ATRL username. After going through some name changes I'm sure that this is the one, I'm proud of it. So, call me Rider.
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place?
Sure, if we can call that competed. I always messed this tournament up, but it's not the case this time.
I've competed in the 11th cycle in which I got banned right after the first challenge. Poor that.
I've sent a rushed application for the 12th cycle which didn't get me in, and I'm glad it didn't. I will tell you why in my next question.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
First. Winning the 2nd season of a big ATRL tournament: Les ATRLers. What does this have to do with the question I left unanswered in the 2nd answer, you ask?
Well it had a lot of importance. 2 weeks after my app was declined in ANTM, I got a PM asking me to join another one. And seeing how I messed it up in here, I gave it all in there and I ended up winning the game. So I managed to take the good from the bad and turned it around. I didn't even have to compete in ANTM to earn some experience from it.
Other than this, that game helped me grow as a member a lot, I got to learn a lot about my online persona, it created great friendships and it really holds a special place in my heart.
Second. Being choosed as the OP of the Rihanna base. The Rihanna base is probably my favorite place on ATRL (well not right now cause it's really dead, like the R8 era). So being the OP, that means the other navy members have trust in me, so I really appreciate and love that. I love my fanbase so it really was an honour.
Third. Being voted 4th most popular member of the last year on ATRL. That means pretty much on ATRL, it means, amongst others, that you're one of ATRL's top members...
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
... but with this game I will prove that I'm THE Top Member.
I know I have it in me. I've learned a lot about me and ATRL these past few months so I'm ready to channelize everything into this competition and win it.

1. What would you prefer to be called? (can be your ATRL name, shortened version of your ATRL name, or your actual name)
2. Have you competed in ATRL's Next Top Member before?
If so, which cycles and where'd you place? (if you placed winner, runner-up, or third place, your application will automatically be declined)

Hello people of ATRL's Next Top Member Cycle 13
I'd like to be called clouds since that is my current name. And no, I am not named after the masterpiece of an album called "Queen of the Clouds". My previous name was Gabe² which was a simplified version of Gabegabe so if you would like to call me that's fine as well. So either clouds or Gabe works.
This will be my first time competing on ATRL's Next Top Member if I'm accepted of course.
I'm actually very excited to be in this season. I just joined the games section not too long ago and I'd love to be part of a game that's already on its 13th season.
I haven't played a game in a few months and I'm ready for a new adventure
On my time as an ATRL member I've had many experiences good and bad. I think one of hose highlights was being called "the Paramore stan" After the unexpected success Parmaore found with their latest era and with me fully supporting them I didn't realized people were beginning to notice me. I still find it funny that people call me the Paramore stan because I never meant to be known as it
One good thing ATRL has brought to me is Cassadee Pope. Why her? Because if it wasn't for ATRL and its people I'd had never given her new sound a chance. Funny enough I wasn't a Cassadee stan until an incident. So here's the story. I knew Cassadee from Hey Monday, but never bothered to watch her on The Voice so when she released her new music aka Country music I didn't listen to it at all. But I was still kinda intrigued by it. Like I would go lurk on her single threads and stuff. So this one day a member said he would send his nudes to people if they posted their receipt of buying her album. So a few days later I went to the store and I saw Cassadee's album. So I bought it and took a pic of the receipt. Then I posted on the single thread as a joke to get the pics. But joke's on me since I listened to the album and I really like really enjoyed. I liked a lot. So instead of asking for the member's nudes I told him I didn't want them because thanks to him I got into Cassadee's amazing music. I think this is a highlight because now I listen to Cassadee like everyday and she has become one of my faves.
Another of my highlights would be making friends here. Like talking with them and feeling accepted by them. There's so many amazing people on ATRL so naming just one of them a highlight would be wrong. I think they all make ATRL the place it is.
I think I am a Top Member because I have been all around ATRL. When I first joined I was mostly in base, then I switched to Music News and Charts, then to Lounge and Celebria, and lately I've explored the Games section. People know me, but they don't know the true me. I think its time ATRL gets to know the true Gabe cLouDs.

Thank you for asking, I prefer to be called Niko.

I have not, I'm fresh meat and ready to slay your taste buds with my red hot personality.
3. What do you consider your own personal
top three highlights of your time as an ATRL member?
My top 3 highlights would be the following
1) Making my Iconic debut into the ATRL world by debuting my music video parody of "Style" called playstyle. 60% of it's views come from ATRL.
2) Playing in the game "Platinum Hit 7". It was very fun to be active and playing in that game, and I did alright. I realized how much fun it was to play games on ATRL, and that's why i'm here. I'm ready to compete, and win that glorious title!
3) Debuting my 2nd ATRL inspired video "Dueling for the summer" and it went on the ATRL twitter page and slayed the universe. It was critically acclaimed on ATRL and was named "iconic" by many members.
4. Why do you think you are a Top Member?
I don't think I am a Top Member, I AM a top member. I bring in the triple threat, Sassy, Smart, and Special, something most ATRLers fail to achieve. I am very excited to compete in this ATRL game, and I hope to be a great competitor, if chosen.

Matty, I'm so confused right now. For some reason the font in the app you posted doesn't look like Garamond to me. That font looks different than the one I sent you..and I tried to quote your post to see which font you used but that doesn't work
Doing a quick scrollthrough, and I don't really see a bad application in the bunch. The judges are going to have a difficult time picking the final cast.
I will read through them all later and give my not-asked-for thoughts.

I literally copied and pasted from what I had in PMs.
This is what the font title showed me in your post
