I blushed a little when I friend of mine casually asked in a Facebook pic if I was going to the gym.

I didn't think it would be that noticeable so soon. Personally, I don't see that much of a difference from when I started and now.
What I really want to target is my chest, abs and broaden my shoulders so I don't look like a rectangle. I'm doing a lot of that. I've noticed they are the most uncomfortable muscles to exercise (pecs and shoulders) because you depend on the flexing of the elbows and not the muscled themselves.
I haven't started any protein shakes, mostly because I don't have the money and gym membership is already expensive enough, but also because I have this silly idea that I would be cheating if I do.
