No. She's incredibly talented and successful, but I don't see her as the same kind of artist and juggernaut as Madge/MJ were in their prime.

This thread is a mess. Beyoncé is not on MJ or Madonna Level. She lacks impact, sales, creativity and she is not as global as them.

Beyonce is a league below Britney, who is at the bottom of the Pop Royalty trinity, so there's no way she's anyway near Michael's and Madonna's level(s)

Both Madonna and MJ were releasing horrible music towards the end of their careers. So I hope Beyoncé never reaches their level. She's on a completely different spectrum.

Let's just leave her at Tina Turner.

I can see what you mean here about the different spectrum.
She is a perfect popstar. She fulfils just about every type of popstar quality from the major legends. She has the dance on lock (MJ), the overt sexuality and ownership + statement making music (Madonna/Janet), the sassy, brassy fierceness (Tina Turner), the classy elegance and showmanship (Diana Ross), the powerhouse diva vocals (Aretha) and then her own unique style of singing and performance style that makes it all come together as her own.
As far as peaks and big albums go, she's not on MJ's level but I really believe that if she was around in the 1980s she would be just as big. The music market was much different then. But she is on MJ's level for this generation for sure.

did Michael have any tour that ranked into top 10 highest grossing tours of alltime, no ! so stop with your ****ing nonsense selling ticket crap
which source told you that he's the world class dancer ? i need receipt, i never use his dancing style not to mention he was performing the same style in his entire career, the lack of reintenvion. MJ's albums sales are always much more than Madonna's sales, that's the well known fact but his discography will never touch the artistry of Madonna's albums, he kept repeating himself and couldn't make a good album after Bad, Dangerous is a trend following of new jack swing, Madonna is a risk taker and her art is always more controversy, she dares to write lyrics about deep topics like like religion, war, polical issues, taboo, feminism why MJ always kept his musicin a safe ambit that's why the public prefer MJ to her
Grammy means **** ! load of legends like Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Buddy Holly, Ramones, the Kinks, Chuck Berry and many more the legendary artists who never have a chance to touch that trashy award but they're still farrrrrrrr more influential than MJ

It's so funny to see how floppy you are
Michael has a tour that made $125M in 1988. That tour sold 4.4 million tickets. Michael has a tour that made $250M in 1997. That tour sold 4.5 million tickets.
Madonna had grosses nowhere near that pre-2000s touring revenue. Madonna has never come close to selling that many tickets for a concert tour.
Michael Jackson is in the dance hall of fame - no other pop musician has ever been inducted. World. Class. Sit down, you're embarrassing. Madonna is literally an awful dancer if you're comparing her to Michael, as are all the pop girls and guys. I'm convinced you're trolling with that stuff about him doing "the same dancing," as if by comparison Madge had styles to switch up
LOL at your rambling delusional about Michael's albums and risk taking. It's too funny to see you call me delusional as you pretend Michael's record like Off The Wall (disco) is the same as Thriller (pop, rock), Dangerous (New Jack Swing, R&B), HIStory (Opera, pop, hiphop, blues/gospel), BOTDF (dance).... Your opinion of the quality of Michael's album is as irrelevant as you are deluded.
In the world of impact, Madge is a blip next to Michael Jackson. In the world of success, she doesn't register next to Michael. Do yourself a favor, venture outside ATRL and see just how much the GP loves Madge next to Michael rather than pretending to know you flop
BTW, you're in the running for my new sig with your "I never use his dancing style" congrats sis!

No, and don't get me wrong with what I'm about to say,but she doesn't have the originality that Madonna, for example, had; Madonna changed the songs and the way they were performed each tour, from what I've seen Byeoncé keeps doing almost the same songs and routines, which isn't a bad thing, most (great) performers do it, but she will never reach Madonna's level

There's no need for me to change anything - Madonna is far superior artistically and had a much greater artistic impact than Michael ever did.

...You can keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better I guess. But it's not true

Come on now. Madonna is highly important to pop music and she is very beloved. She has always been far more controversial than Michael Jackson (creatively) it makes sense that she wouldn't have some universal praise situation happening at all times. She opened the door for just about every female popstar after her.
When it comes to pop, Michael and Madonna are the King and Queen.

I would never argue that Madonna isn't a huge popstar, easily the biggest female artist out there and has been immensely successful. She's bolder than Michael was artistic-wise and performance-wise, and yes she certainly influenced a host of newer artists.
But the idea that she is at the same level as Michael Jackson, let alone somehow above the guy whose record Thriller alone outranks her on her best day (sales, longevity, impacT, awards, fame) is so ridiculous I have to clock every now and then.

Beyonce may be close to Madonna level but not MJ level. Madonna was influental in the way women in pop music behave, and she has big sales. Beyonce is very successful but she hasn't had a huge impact. For example Michael broke racial barriers, was the first black person to have his videos on MTV, revolutionized the way music videos are made, created the choreographed group dancing that everyone uses in their videos nowadays, and he was one of the first artists to combine pop and rap in a song. And he has so many clones that are inspired by his songs, videos, style and more (Bruno mars, Chris Brown, JT and others). His music is sampled and covered by rappers, pop artists, rock artists etc.
And sales wise she won't reach MJ either. Beyonce is great in her own way and definitely one of the biggest artists of this generation though

Beyonce isn't even on Janet's level and never will be, let alone MJ/Madonna level
I'd put her with Celine, famous for what they excel in but not exactly anything special or groundbreaking

I love Beyonce but there will never be another at the same level of Madonna or Michael. Those days are long gone
