It's still promotion considering Justin is a major social media force And he still had the smash hit, the stan hype, the specials, the TV appearances, the multiple promotional singles (which were also over-promoted on twitter).

Exactly. My World 2.0 had legs because his popularity was growing at the time. Now it's not the same, he's at his peak and the hype/promo around the album was HUUUUUGE. So the album will not have the same longevity.

Katy Perry ironically, sold more than 2.2 million copies while Gaga who started with 1 million+ is not charting on Billboard 200 anymore.

Don't bring this comparison up in Bieber threads please. Katy had 8 top 5 singles in the US, all of which had decent to great longevity, to boost her album sales, and yet she only managed to barely beat out Gaga stateside and sold less than BTW worldwide.



And we all know Bieber has decent longevity, even with just moderate singles success his album will end up above 2 million.

Well no. You can look at it as a sign that he ended up not posting frontloaded sales and will find legs as well. We'll see.
