Failed predictions? I said "they weren't going to win anymore Grand Slams, and hell probably anymore tournaments." That's what I said. Once again, Serena got slayed at another Grand Slam event by a girl who's first serve average is 85 mph and no big weapons. The red dirt is just not here for her But she's still playing in mixed doubles with one of the twins so there's still hope. Can't wait to see what she's gonna do for Wimbledon & The Olympics.
Saying Razzano has no (big) weapons is a damn lie tho. She can easily hit winners from both sides, and OFC when most of Serena's strokes ended up somewhere near the service line, she was able to dominate the play.
Razzano was really playing some inspired stuff today. And let's not act like she wasn't a Top 20 player a few years ago. It's not like she's Julie Coin or something

It wouldn't even be that bad, if Serena hadn't had obvious chances to win the match herself. I mean first in the 2nd set tiebreak and then in 3-5, when she had 3 or 4 (?) break points and a chance to get the match back on serve. Winning that game would clearly turned the tables for good.
