I am pissed! I wrote this whole big post and out of nowhere ATRL kicked me out!
Anyway, I haven't been on here for a few days and here are my current thoughts:
1) Duets is alright...am I the only one who thinks that the judging system is rigged? Not to offend anyone but 3 colored people at the top and Kelly's 2 white people at the bottom...odd.
2) How are some of you guys actually calling Dark Side a flop? It hasn't even been officially released as a single yet LOL. You guys were spoiled with WDKY'S quick rise to the top. All of Kelly's other hits including the Breakaway ones all took months to peak and become big. It will go #1 just wait!
3) How the heck are you guys hating on the Dark Side video? What has happened to real music? Is it because it doesn't feature Kelly dancing naked looking like a **** such as Rihanna? The video is flaw free! It shows stories of real people and really makes you think about life. it doesn't go in depth with the characters but it is better that way IMO. Instead of showing scripted scenes it shows the real emotion and gives an even better meaning to an already amazing song. Dark Side, Because Of You, and Behind These Hazel Eyes are easily her best videos!
ATRL had good reason to kick you off for your faulty logic and yet, here you remain.
1. Jason isn't white, he's asian.
2. Not a chance in hell Dark Side will hit #1.
3. You're lucky we don't have lurkers from other bases that will report your crusty post. Where was Rihanna ever dancing naked? Stay trying to bash other artist just cuz you can't do any defending. And nothing about Dark Side was deep. Showing people acting sad with shots of trash, pills and newspaper clippings doesn't show "real" emotions. And to place DS in the upper echelons with BTHE and BOY is pure blasphemy, let alone to say DS is better than NA. I mean, what kinda stroke induced delusion?

Literally like every chart. I think Mariah probably did it with We Belong Together but I don't know who else. I don't really follow Rihanna's chart success outside of Pop but has she ever had an AC #1? She doesn't seem like a huge AC artist but I have no idea. Same with GaGa but I could see Just Dance maybe ?

I don't think Rihanna or gaga had a #1 on AC before.
Coldplay did it with Viva La Vida if we substitute Dance with Rock. I don't know about AC but I know that it hit #1 on the HAC. But I don't think they go the #1 on Digital Songs! And I don't think Mariah got that either back in 2005. Kelly better get an article from BB or RS!
