Mind you that Charice has been in the business since 2007, so she's got a head start. However her debut didn't even sell 500,000 copies worldwide, and her latest album Infinity didn't even chart, only #8 in Japan and then quickly fell off. I don't know if the album has sold 100 000 copies.

What do you mean by "Infinity didn't even chart"? That album has only been released in Asia, more specifically in Japan, and it did chart there.

Anyway, I prefer Charice over Jessica. Jessica is talented but Charice is one of the most gifted vocalists in the industry right now.

Charice is overrated. She has great range and belt, but her tone, emotion and all the other things that makes a great vocalist are all lacking.

Jessica is pretty much the complete opposite. Not amazing range, but she seems like she will grow into an accomplished vocalist. I like her better.

This. Jessica is definitely the superior vocalist, her control, the vibrato and the growls it is so professional. Also when she sings there's emotions.

She sings to express not to impress.

on the other hand, Charice just belts this high notes endlessly but that's it. She lacks every other aspects of singing.

Jessica can do everything and she is a great interpreter of songs too.

Scroll up and read what I wrote about Infinity. It debuted #8 in Japan, but quickly fell. I don't want to get warned for this but it flopped big time for the hype that Charice has as an "international singer".

She was never that big worldwide. Her debut album did kinda well in Asia (it went platinum in Japan), but it didn't even manage to sell 100k copies in the USA. Her team sucks when it comes to promoting.

I didn't even know Jessica Sanchez was on AI I know her from YT & I was NOT a fan. She does a bunch of screaming and never ever sounded good.

anyway if we try to be objective and look at their singing you can see the difference and you can hear who had master controlling of vocals.
