Let me guess, it's the Madonna fans right? I don't care, do your immature dragging all you want. Yeah it's impressive for Gaga, i'm not denying that. But let's see if she can do it after 30 years of career.

What kind of public embarrassment?

Basically, yeah.
Lady Gaga grosses after 3 years what most gross after 20+.
Oh, and she was only ~$15,000,000 off from beating Michael Jackson's first tour, Bad.
That's including inflation.
So please, unless your fave pulled these kinds of numbers after 3 years (Spoiler: None of your faves did), then you can sit down and gag on these numbers

However, she's grossing numbers reserved for vintage acts that tour just based on legacy, and she's only been touring for 3 years. This is her second tour, not her 8th or 9th tour. The only act that was pulling numbers like this after a second tour was Michael ****ing Jackson, and he didn't start touring till late into his career (his first world tour was for Bad, his 7th album, although really, it's practically his 3rd)
I can't predict what's gonna happen in the future, but I'm living now, and right now, Lady Gaga is touring bigger than any of your faves did 3 years into their career, even Michael mother****ing Jackson.

Of course it would be huge. This IS her first leg like this. The demand is crazy.
Comparing this to older tours isn't fair game considering tours weren't a huge thing back then. Compare it to artists who had their third tour recently to determine that ****.

Rihanna - Last Girl on Earth Tour: ~$45,000,000
Beyonce - I Am... World Tour - ~$105,000,000
Britney Spears - Onyx Hotel Tour - ~$40,000,000 (let's say like, $47,000,000 for inflation)
Christina Aguilera - B2B World Tour - ~$95,000,000 (Like, $100,000,000 including inflation)
Lady Gaga obliterated all of these on her first tour.
Still, she's outgrossing legacy tours, and she's pulling in grosses that are respectable beside the highest grossing tours.
Don't deny it, the bitch is slaying tours in ways we've never seen.

All i can think of actually.
I mean, comparing any 2000s act would be fine. But comparing it to 30 years earlier is a stretch.

Monster Ball.
Born This Way Ball will blow past tons of tours, even factoring in inflation.

I never denied it. I just don't approve of comparing it to Michael, Madonna, etc debut tours because they were over 25 years ago. Different times.
