Girl HELL NO, I lived in the hood when I was in elementary and middle school and it was the scariest time of my life. Not knowing if you can walk down the street without being harassed by GROWN ASS MEN or snatched into an abandoned house. Now don't get me wrong, the hood >>> sometimes! But other than that, moving to the suburbs was the best thing that ever happened to my life, leave those ghetto ass hooodlums behind where they belong.

Having both experiences is something I like though.
