That's what Phoenix83 forgot. Being successful at 1st or 2nd album is an exception, but it usually goes that way. 3 or 4 albums in, before the greats arrived. Those albums are career filler. One need to stay relevant for years to be considered as legend. And that's how he/she do it. This theory works for solo artists & bands. We, modern age people, have forgotten the beauty of honing skills & hard work. Do it step-by-step until you reach the top of the world.

Btw dude, I'm currently at random Google session of 'Taylor Swift & Guitars', and 'Taylor Swift inspiring my...', so glad she's sparking the interest of future musicians & songwriters like that. All the girls started to pick up the guitar to learn her songs (according to the uncles & dads on Guitar forums). Proud fan.

I wish I knew more about Carrie's music so I could drag discuss her more, but all her songs that I've heard are so basic and dull that I don't think I could sit through much more of it. Also it's not like her songs have ever been heard anywhere outside the US so I have to actively seek out her music.

I see I looked into a little bit she didn't say anything really mean its like the cheap shade that everyone ignorant of her music would say. With that said she is just trying to appeal to the indie group by acting like she is anti-mainstream but everyone who heard her one hit song knows her music is **** well that one song was **** I don't know any more of her material than that though
