I think it'll be an in between. Though is The Voice having their judges performing with the contestants last night their way of retaliating against Duets mocking them in their promo? Or did they do that last year? I don't watch the show so I'm not sure. Now it's almost going to look like Duets is taking the idea from the Voice even though it's already in production..but the average viewer won't know the timeframes.
But I do think it's good that Duets can ride the momentum of The Voice and Idol ending.. I think a lot of viewers will check it out just to see the difference. They better BRING IT on the first few episodes. But yes, it is summer so it's not going to pull in Idol like viewers.
I'm already thinking ahead now though. If it does considerably well I wonder if they'll get all 4 of them back for another season and if they'd move it to the Spring/Fall to compete with the others. Oy.
