Hey Beyhive

I'm only a casual Beyonce fan but I do love her voice and think she's the most talented overall performer out of all the pop girls. Anyways, I was trying to find out about any upcoming music from Bey, and there were only a couple of mentions that she's discussing the new project already and that she's performing somewhere at the end of the month.

But does anyone have any idea what direction she might be taking with her music? I don't want her to go the dance route because I feel like dance is on a downward trend right now.

Since she is working with Hit-Boy, I'll be expecting hard hitting beats and anthems. She is so happy right now with changes in her life that she could really take it anywhere; I just know I'll end up loving it

I don't know what direction she'll go but I don't think she'll go the dance route! She said something like she want to do what will be hot in 2013 and I think (hope) this time people will be tired of popgirls and boys doing these dancepop things!

^ Thanks for posting; I had no idea they'd even done an interview with Oprah. I hope their episode airs before OWN gets snatched off the air, though.

It all stemed from Beyonce saying to a bunch of Japanese fans in 2006 saying she wrote Irreplaceable for women or whatever and then Neyo went on Radio show saying something about she only wrote the melody which is still songwriting. Then it span out of control to she does not write anything so I don't know what they are thinking.

THankyou for the warm welcome BeyHive! I am so happy I joined Atrl. I have a question to ask, how often do you guys come accross bey stans? Because here in Antalya, Turkey i only know a handful but 4 sold 60,000 copies here and Turkeys music industry is not very big!
