Risky is good. Bland and generic is bad If the risk pays off, it'll help this album sell better than IFY could ever hope to do. IFY is one of those songs that people download without checking out the album, turning Kelly into a singles artist

Yea I was originally wanting YLM to end the era, but I'm thinking it would sound so epic in the summer compared to LMD which feels more like a fall release.

I'm just thinking of all the possibilities and directions Kelly can go if Duets is a surprise hit. I hope it can do for her what the voice did for Adam Levine's sexy ass.

If I hear one more goddamn nonsensical utterance about certain songs doing better in certain seasons I will lose my goddamn mind. There is some truth to that, only in that some songs seem to fit the beach/party scene and should be released in summer, but there are very, very few songs like that (I'm thinking California Gurls or Last Friday Night). NOTHING and I mean absolutely NOTHING in Kelly's discography would be affected by the seasons.

But YLM is not a true smash, that's obvious. It's just as big a risk as Dark Side, so EVERYTHING needs to be planned perfectly.

Kelly was on every damn high profile shows to promo MLWS. Do you think those high profile shows would want she appear again to promo her song in only 2 3 months gap? That's why IDNHU only got So You Think You Can Dance & GMTV promo, and do you think Already Gone would fit those shows?

Much simpler, AG would not have high profile promo like it had if it was released as 2nd single right after MLWS. And that mean AG will have average success, may be better than IDNHU but I dont think it would success as hard as it was.
