I noticed she does a lot of ballads. I heard her Starstrukk. It was kinda weird because she turned such an upbeat song into a ballad.

The original song is great. It's technically by a band called Magnetic Man, but Katy B is the vocalist in the song. She's amazing too and her own album is very good.
I think the reason why she sorta morphs the song into and acoustic version or adds verses is because she isn't really keen on doing covers.
