LordT. Calm the **** down. Last Friday Night was very successful well before the remix and discount.
E.T. would have been successful too. Look, the solo version sold over a million by itself last year. That's more than other #1s, and it didn't have significant airplay, a music video, or promo. It would obviously have been successful without it. Maybe not
as successful, but still
very successful.
The reason why E.T. was more successful, was not because of the remix, but because the song ***** over Part Of Me and everything else. Last Friday Night's music video ***** over Part Of Me's music video too.
Of course timing doesn't help either.
