As a casual listener, I'd say he makes very pleasant music, but not much more. Give it a listen though. I occasionally still listen to his songs when I want something...well, pleasant. That's really the only word.

It wasn't considered because the guys at Jive are morons and they thought it would be better to try and milk the success of Hey, Soul Sister by putting Pat on The Truth.

It's weird how such a quick decision can completely alter the life of an artist. With BWCU, Kris would've been a multi-platinum superstar whose upcoming album would've been one of the most eagerly anticipated of 2012. But because of The Truth, he is a faded hasbeen who has to show some skin just to reach top 40 on Hot AC.
