As sad as it is they might have a case here. The whole chorus sounds the same apart from the high notes at "A year without rain" at the end of the chorus...
And you guys can now act like they are unimportant, but the article states the song was apparently quite big in 2005, it's not some random band with some random song that sounds similar.
