What's Valley of the Dolls and Hypocrates about??
Well in the movie, Valley of the Dolls (which Marina cites several times as being a big contributing inspiration to this era), "dolls" are actually pills that all of the girls in the movie take to drug themselves into a stupor that they think will make their situations in the life of fame more bearable.
I really enjoy the album, I was a bit unsure what to expect. The first half is great, but then it starts to drag with Valley Of The Dolls and Hypocrates. Luckily Fear and Loathing ends the album, one of my favourite songs.
