Living Dead. I mean, it describes my (old) life to a T. The demo was the wake up call I needed to actually do something with my life.
I just listened to the album in full. Oh. My. God. This is ****ing brilliant. Marina does it YET AGAIN.
I currently have a shuffle of both TFJ and EH and it's just proving how amazing Marina's discography is. Both albums are so different, but are so awesome. TFJ is really alternative and made up of instruments whereas EH is much more electronic and commercial, which isn't a bad thing at all.
It's actually kinda amusing to see how 'The Archetypes' characters are actually kinda present in TFJ, and they really do make up a 'Family'. I'm positive it was unintentional, but its nice when things work out.
On TFJ I hear 'SuBarbieA' (is that the one on Lies?) on Obsessions/Numb and 'Primadonna' in 'Oh No!' and I can sort of associate 'Teen Idle' to 'Mowgli's Road' (choosing the right path for your life).
It's so well-made and catchy.
I believe it's her gran singing.
