There's always room for improvement but the point is, she hit the note.
And the comparison isn't b/w Beyonce and Katy, is between Katy and Lana.
Katy can hold falsetto notes quite well, Lana can't even hold a note for more than 5 secs using her chest tone. So lets not compare vocals, Katy wins by miles.
