Katy's singing is just ok, in my opinion, her voice register is reallly limited, she has never hit any high notes, and when im talking about high notes im refering to E5, A5....and her low register is really bad, she can sing decently sometimes tho...

But Katy can play the guitar, so that an advantage.

Lana's an excellent writer, below average singer
Katy is a good writer, much better vocalist than Lana, good musician... and has an artistic vision to some extent.
