This comment I found on a blog sums up my thoughts on Born This Way and why I am no longer a big fan of Gaga's:

When I was 9, my parents threw a birthday party for some old great-aunt or -uncle or other and invited the whole massive extended family. We’re Irish, so it was packed. Last to arrive was my great-uncle Freddy, a jolly widower who had recently taken up painting. He showed up with a huge package and gave it to my parents. “This is for you,” he said. “Open it right now!”
They did. It was a huge painting of my mother. HUGE.

“Oh! MY! FREDDY! This is…thank you!” My mom said, through the clenched teeth of the smile a mother smiles when company’s over.
After everyone went home, we sat at the dining room table and looked at that painting. It was just all wrong. The skin tone was cadaverous, the eyes were off center, and she had 900 teeth. It was CRAZY. And the thing was, we loved Uncle Freddy, and he did tend to drop by from time to time. So this big, dumb thing we didn’t ask for was going to have to be hung in our home.
“Well,” my Dad sighed. “This is ours now.”
That is exactly how I feel this morning, as a gay man, about “Born This Way.”

I'm not offended by the controversial artistic things she does.

She did offend me though when she was a bitch to this 1 asian reporter who didn't speak english well. She went off on her. and that 1 time a fan jumped on stage during bad romance and she let her backup dancers carry the poor asian girl off stage as she backed away and screamed 'I DONT WANNA BE FRIENNNDS!!!!' .

Also she has used transphobic language in the past and she should have known better than to use "chola" in Born This Way. That is considered a racial slur in some parts of South America when said by white people and gives a negative image of Latin Americans (which I am btw).

I don't like how she acts like she's the saviour of minorities in that song....I know it's meant to be campy and cheesy but the message is still the same, and when it comes to transgender people....how the **** is saying "you were born this way" uplifting or positive? That's the whole point, they were born in the wrong body.
