I'm kinda glad that she's fed up with being called 'pop' because now she's going to do everything within her power to prove she's 'hip-hop' with the next album.

And that's why she said she thinks her next album will be Hip-Hop, fully. Then all the bandwagon pop BITCHES will fall the **** back.

Prove what? SHE IS POP. SHE IS ALSO HIP-HOP. AND R&B.
She should be happy to be versatile and appealing to so many different people. Instead, she's being incredibly disrespectful. She'd be a complete nobody internationally if it wasn't for the pop community.
She wouldn't be the ****ing face of a drink called Pop if it wasn't for her pop songs.
She deserves to be shaded by her fans when she makes such ****ing stupid comments.
She should just say "It's more than just a pop album - I have a lot of hip-hop and R&B on there too" and that's it. Point comes across well without being a ****.

I'm already excited for installment #3 (#6 including mixtapes).

Did she actually say this?
The pop world will freak out, but Nicki really needs her Hip-Hop credibility. This album was "for the fans", and I'm still glad that it's part of her discography, but now she needs to aim for critics and the Hip-Hop crowd. When it's all said and done, I really want Nicki to be remembered as a rapper, and not "the bitch who went pop".

Yes. It was in one of the interviews from this past week.
she said she's considering releasing Champion as a single, and she has a lot of features coming up, so that will help her remain relevant in the hip hop community

But people are completely disregarding the fact she does Hip-Hop. Nicki is basically a "pop girl" now. The imagery isn't helping, either. For now, in the minds of many, Nicki is a pop artist. She needs to break out of the pop shell that she trapped herself in.
She isn't being disrespectful. I'm annoyed about everyone labelling her as "pop" and I'm not even in her position. It's like people just forget that she has Hip-Hop material.

If Kanye West wanted to have 9 Country songs on her next album, would he be a country artist?
More people would say "yes" if he started wearing cowboy hats and other country imagery. Nicki looks so plastic lately. She really does look like a pop artist. The BITT video was a nice change, she looked like a Hip-Hop artist, but when she's out and about in the blonde wig and all dolled up, it's hard to think of her as anything but pop.
Well then to be honest, RedOne made a mistake working with Nicki. He should have kept the tracks for DJ Havana Brown and Dolly Rockers, because if Nicki really is that unappreciative, she doesn't deserve them.
Just know she'll regret not going the extra mile to become the next Katy Perry, because her hip-hop career has a shelf-life and she knows it. With pop, she'd be around for a lot longer, especially when she can change it up from rap to singing.
She had everything going for her. Nevermind then.

Just stop.
Nicki likes the dance tracks she made, she doesn't want them to define her. What is so hard to understand?

If she became the next Katy Perry, I would never forgive her for abandoning us. I'm here for Mixtapenika, Popnika is just a fun little extra added on to Nicki's REAL talent.

No. There's a clear difference between not wanting it to define you, and being rude and pathetic. She didn't need to word it the way she did. It's genuinely as if she's ashamed of singing/rapping pop songs.
If she feels that way, then she shouldn't release a mostly-pop album, she shouldn't agree on being marketed as the next big pop superstar, and she shouldn't be doing popstar things like releasing only pop singles internationally, advertising a drink called "Pop", wearing incredibly colourful outfits, etc.

why is he always in here?
Lol, I'm not ALWAYS in here. I only come here now whenever news breaks out that she's had another fit. I just want to see her fans reactions, thats all.
