What do you gorls think of the demos that leaked from The Family Jewels. They are laughable mediocre, I'm so surprised they sound as good as they do on the finished album.

The archetypes:

Your new album is called Electra Heart, which is based on a character you've invented. Can you explain?

"I'm doing this exhibition called 'The Archetypes', which is about illusion and identity. Electra Heart is basically something that represents all female archetypes - the homewrecker, teen idol, teen runaway, suburban housewife, etc. I can't say much more now as it's too early to reveal it all.
