How can you hate them? They are so brilliant. Mowgli takes the phrase "fork in the road" and expands on it simultaneously in a literal and metaphorical sense. I love that she included spoons and knives in the song where she has to choose the right path for herself. It's magical. It's epic. It's a bop. The song is literally perfect.

Don't get me started on Hermit. It was one of the first Marina songs that I fell in love with. I instantly related to the song, especially since (at the time) my heart had recently "burst like a glass balloon". I fell in love, and it's been perfect ever since. The production, the chorus, the verses... it's so different and wonderful. Perfection.

I've only listened to them twice I love that you used the word bop.
They just don't sound pleasant, but I'm listening as we speak to the whole Family Jewels in order so we shall see if my thoughts change. This album is sooo good, I always forget. "Hollywood infected your brain, you're kissing in the rain"

will forever love Mowgli's Road my first Marina song. What I love most about her though is almost every single lyric she writes I can identify with. (I guess cept for now about the ones about wanting fame)

I don't think Girls is a popular track but I really like it, especially the 'fast car' version. Which might be a demo, I'm not sure.
