Also Early is the UK shameless the same as the US shameless because if it is I'll still watch it for Lip & Steve but I refuse to go any further incase their are spoilers because the American version has a budget and I like things that have budgets.
jnmkl,mknl,
It's based heavily while loosely on it, so say if a character died on the UK show they would die on the US one as well. Not in the same season/series but over time. Meanwhile they add new characters to add more umph.

So if I watch Series 2/3 of UK Shameless will that Spoil Season 3 of the better, big budget US Shameless?
It'll probably end up happening at some point in the US series, so yes.
The **** is the point in that. I realize the American version has a budget, looks better, and has better acting but what is the point if it's the same damn story except the American version is better?

Bitch, it's like the US remake of Skins in the sense of revamping storylines for a different audience. Except this show didn't get cancelled after one season and have all it's funding pulled.

So are you saying I shouldn't watch the UK Shameless because the budget is low and they didn't allow blacks on set and the budget is low?
