Britney un-officially struck a deal with X Factor, and is now waiting to finalize the "fine points," reports TMZ.
The major points are locked, it's now just a waiting game. The contract must be signed by Britney's father and co-conservator Jamie, then handed off to the judge who oversees the conservatorship for the final approval.
One key player is her fiance, Jason Trawick, who's said to be "very involved" in the negotiations.
Another source connected to the deal says it's a "virtual certainty" Britney will be a judge.
Simon Cowell told TMZ yesterday he would "love" to have Britney on X Factor, adding "I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to."
