And 50 Cent was Interscope's most popular artist back in the day aswell.
Now there's only one artist they care about, and everybody else is kicked to the side. Only Eminem can sell anymore because he's just THAT popular. And people on will.i.am's sub-label do okay aswell.
Nelly isn't doing any worse than I expected though. It's been 5 years since she was massive. The song just needs lots of radio airplay and it'll be fine. Linkin Park have a cult fanbase, so I'm not surprised they're doing well, kinda like Britney Spears and Madonna do.
I think the Linkin Park song could actually be pretty big aswell. I read on Billboard's website that radio bosses are now thinking of crossing over more alternative songs to pop radio after the success of Gotye and fun., and I think Linkin Park could be a likely choice.
Interscope were the best label back in like 2006. Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Timbaland, Eminen, 50 Cent, Pussycat Dolls, and others dominating the chart. They were having all the biggest hits. But a couple of years later they got a bit distracted.
