Hot Stuff
Average Score: 9.12
Highest Score: 10 (madonnas, BoyonBoyWonder, Amaru, Diamond Dust, Porygon2z)
Lowest Score: 7.5 (Ace Reject)
What becomes a legend most?
How about bringing about a change in the Grammys, and then reaping the rewards of said change?
Hot Stuff, Donna's second number one single, won her a Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance - making her a) the first Black woman to win and b) the first WOMAN to win in a Rock category. Only a queen.

Ah, the days when a song from a soundtrack could greatly outlast the film it was written for. On The Radio was written for the film Foxes and in the process became Donna's fifth consecutive top five single, and a song covered by everyone from Emmylou Harris to Selena.

I never really took in the lyrics to this song until recently. I mean, it's a great disco track but listen to the words and you have a fantastic love track too

Hear ye, hear ye.
Come rejoice at your winner.

I Feel Love
Average Score: 9.39
Highest Score: 10 (Ace Reject, @michael, madonnas, supaspaz, BoyonBoyWonder, Porygon2z, Patrick, Geezus Haberdash, YoYo)
Lowest Score: 7 (Clump)
Lyrics and Music by: Summer/Moroder/Bellotte
What can be said about arguably the greatest and most important track to spring from the disco era, if not the 1970s in total?
The overwhelming adoration it received from voters says enough. More than 3/4 of the voting bas gave it a ten, only for it to be dragged down by Clump and dem.
The final track on I Remember Yesterday, I Feel Love was meant to symbolize the future. That intent was carried out, as David Bowie explains:

This single is going to change the sound of club music for the next fifteen years.' Which was more or less right.

For the first three-five years of its life, disco music (with the exception of Kraftwerk?) was recorded live, with live instruments. I Feel Love became the first song of note to use an entirely synthesized backing track - it, along with the beginnings of Kraftwerk, shaped the sounds of the next thirty five years of ALL forms of dance music.
Bow down.

Very deserving.
This rate really had accurate and deserving places throughout.

For the longest time I thought this and Funkytown were the same song. It doesn't make sense, I know .

I think "Love to Love You Baby" is a much more important song that it is a great one (I initially gave it a 6...), but in a legends rate, that's probably a good enough reason to make the top three.
"I Feel Love" is both, however, so it's the perfect winner.
Judging by this rate, I would say "Hot Stuff" is way overrated in Donna's catalog. If one of her huge, iconic hits had to land at #2, why couldn't it have been "Last Dance" or "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)"?

I should have known they'd be "Hot Stuff" fans.
I'm just joking, of course. It's a great song, but it's not Donna's best.
The rightful victor was the rightful victor, so, um, no complaints.

I agree. My preferred top five would have been IFL, Last Dance, I Love You and two of the SAW tracks.
But thanks to @michael for the graphics and to all of you for voting!

Such an incredible song. One of the most covered songs of all time, yet no one has ever done it justice but her. Has any of you heard Blondie's cover?

Well, the next two on the docket are Whitney and Kylie. Playboy's hosting the Whitney rate, and I'll be back for the woman of my life.
