No, Bad Girls is life itself. The intro I Feel Love should be #1 for historical significance, but Bad Girls is a way better bop.

Actually, to be perfectly real, I wouldn't have "Love to Love You Baby" anywhere near this high either, but I'll give it a pass for being such a groundbreaking piece of music.

One of Donna's most enduring hits, Bad Girls was released during her peak period and topped the Pop, Dance and R&B charts simultaneously. Inspired by one of Donna's assistants - who was mistaken as a prostitute by police - Bad Girls existed in demo form for years before its release. In fact, Donna's record company at the time - Casablanca Records - wanted Donna to give it to Cher. She refused.

The first single Donna released in her home country, and the first single from her second album of the same name, Love to Love You Baby took cues from the incoming sound of disco music to elucidate orgasmic love. Donna approached her fellow songwriters with the idea of the song, but was hesitant to record it the way they preferred. She caved in, though, and recorded it as a demo for other artists.

Obviously the world heard her version. It was a huge hit, peaking at number two - but not without controversy. Some radio stations thought it was "graphic" and banned it; Time Magazine reported that the sounds of twenty-two orgasms were heard throughout the record. Sounds like a nice job to have, huh?

Fun Fact: Donna, using her acting background, recorded it as she imagined Marilyn Monroe would have sung it.
