In terms of music award shows, The Grammys are very prestigious and they may be pretentious about nominating someone like her. I realize that he's probably just being cute, but still - how many times has he talked about how "if it were up to him" we would have had new music from her sooner, etc. etc.?? something happened/is happening with this album that we're not aware of. it seems kiiind of shady how he keeps bringing it up....

Maybe he's frustrated because she has been spending so much time with other producers, he wanted to get the work over and done with and now he has to wait around for her to become available again.
Because it doesn't make sense that he's complaining on having to wait for new music, when he is the one making it.

Alternatively it could also be, he's finished with the work he's doing on the album, and is complaining that her or her management have chosen not to release it yet.

Or he could just be mocking us!
