Exactly!!! That's why I told my dad! Like it's so beastly to cook them like that. How would they feel if someone put them in a big behind pot with boiling hot water?

I just, I mean I'm not like some huge animal lover, a tree-hugging hippie or a PETA member but I just don't like animal cruelty and I know that cooking crabs may not be classified as animal cruelty I just think that it's so mean.

Yeah, but you gotta cook them alive because they spoil so fast. Or stab them before throwing them in the water. I guess stabbing them would be more merciful.

Stabbing them would be a lot better imo. I mean they'd hurt but for only like a 2nd where as boiling them-- that's like torture.
Trust me, I am not a vegetarian. I eat meat.
But I just... I cannot eat anything that I've seen alive. And I actually do not eat pork and fish or any seafood. Chicken is too hard to give up, but if I were to see a live chicken, I would not be able to eat it afterwards.
