We couldn't possibly say that is impossible. The media still uses her for headlines and ratings. As long as the media is willing to use her, she will at least have her presence.
All she has to do is use that to her advantage. Hit the studio, do what she does naturally, and then all she has to do is release it (and hype it up without claims of it being the single of the century and such).
Rihanna came back from Rated R quite easily. Britney came back from her crazyness.
