No, only Madonna and Gaga have studied the industry inside and out in order to know what they have to do. Beyonce, imo, is just along for the ride and have super smart people around them.

Her choices don't make her dumb. The choices she made during the BTW era only further solidified her presence as an important popstar with something of value to say. I could argue, with valid points, that the BTW era shows just how smart she really is when it comes to the industry.
