just a super nicki fan who always reads atrl but never really posted but this is why i think sales first week are so low

imo so low because of the way she started off the era with dumb songs like roman in moscow and stupid hoe . NOBODY for the most part liked those songs . not pop fans or urban fans . they was suppose to be promo singles but urban radio did not support them

.so she releases starships and it goes great in the pop world mean time urban radio is never playing nicki at all . and Lets be honest the ONLY reason we got roman reloaded is because rosenberg got attention with that " selling out" stuff had he never said that on the radio we would have never even got that

.And its almost like everything she tried to give her urban fans was so lack luster and about nothing they would like its like she didnt care about them at all .then she randomally decides to release right by my side and beez in the trap like a week before her album drops like either of them would help win back a urban crowd she didnt even give them time 2 catch on the radio or anything.

not to mention her "" IDGAF / im just trying to have fun attidude " didnt help either she is on her SECOND album u need to be in the hungry /playtime is over mindstate" .

Lastly her saying she only cares about what the fans think and not the critics is another problem saying stuff like " everytime i get on twitter the feedback is postive " umm nicki could it be because your tl is filled with nothing but stans who only kiss your ***. and all that she doesnt care about the critics stuff is dumb does she not understand that alot of those people who are now critcs use to be fans

i mean i love that she said she was happy and whatever recording this album but i sorta just think she was too confident for no reason . but yea unlike alot of other people i dont think its as much as her having pop songs that made it do not as good it was the fact that she didnt give a dilly squat or promo any of the urban songs so she lost like a whole fanbase .plus alot of people didnt even know it was coming out she did alot of promo last time like ALOT .

i just hope she isnt too upset over the sells i mean we all know she will act like she not either way but still :/.honestly still lowkey shocked they are this low like i know its straight albums sells but i just expected more from nicki and i know she gonna get bashed and i hate that. hopefully it at least hits 250k

Masquerade and Va Va Voom are the only songs that are actually in the realm of what she capitalized on with Superbass.

I'm taking a "don't really care about any particular weekly US album sales as End of Year Worldwide sales, high-profile smash singles, tour box office and multimillion dollar endorsements as a result of the Wider Picture are more important" stance.

We're all disappointed the sales didn't match the first album's first week in the US, but its still a huge success, and the pop singles will smash and hopefully give the album amazing legs worldwide.
