That's true. But that was Britney "live" comeback, and she used to be one of the strongest touring forces worldwide; but, even Britney, despite high ticket prices, couldn't have a higher average gross than Gaga with her Femme Fatale Tour. It would be fairer to compare the MB to Britney's early tours, but even then, that wouldn't be fair, since tour used to be way less profitable back then.
If I'm not wrong, The Monster Ball is the most successful debut tour ever, and that says enough.

You can say "The Luke and Martin Factory", but at the end of the day ALL of them went to #1. So whether you think they're generic or whatever, it does't matter because OBVIOUSLY the GP connected with them. Katy's the one who tied with the King of Pop

That is an impressive achievement, but it's also "impressive" that she still hasn't outsold Born This Way in terms of album sales, and if she ever will (which I doubt), it will only be thanks to a re-release. Then, her tour didn't even see a third of Gaga's success.

A better question would be if you like her or not.
Fans will say yes and those who hate her will say no.
It's not like anyone could possibly know if she has peaked or not.

Nah, she peaked, I think the public in a way or another are not that interested in gaga as they used to be and the reason for that is that she was overexposed and in a bad way

Why does everyone bring up the re-release? Most artists do it nowadays, it's no big deal.
Yes, and I'm not shading Gaga in anyway, I'm just reacting to a Katy shade. They've both got their strong points. Gaga shifted more albums, Katy shifted more singles and tied a record (she actually broke a record if you say she was the first woman to do it). My other point is that Katy has had a particularly strong era, image and public relations wise, whereas Gaga hasn't. Nobody can deny that, I'm a Gaga fan myself and anyone who says this was a huge era for her is delusional.
Where are the receipts for California Dreams not even being a third of a success of BTWBall? I'll believe it when I see it hun

I think she/he thought about TMB.
California Dreams Tour: Somewhere between $50-60 million.
The Monster Ball Tour: $227,4 million

No. This level of success only happen once in a lifetime.
I'm not saying she'll be a flop by now but she's never going to top what she achieved with TF/TFM.
Btw she needs to stop working with DJ White something and RedShit, their songs do no favor to Gaga.

Depends on the kind of music she wants to make. I don't think she would even like to have a career similar to Madonna's, jokes aside.
I think she'll be a bit like Prince, to be honest. A lot of controversy and success, then stops giving a **** about the sales after 15 years. Maybe.

No, and I think her forth album will become a slap in her face when it comes to sales, if some believe that her third album underperformed, then they will be even more shocked with her forth one.

What the ****? LOL Shut the **** up, there's no way in hell that Gaga will flop with the next album. You do realize BTW was the 2nd biggest album of 2011 right? How the **** is that an under performance? Yeah, she didn't match her debut sales, but quite frankly, it's not fair to compare since TF had a re-release included into it's sales. Have you seen Gaga's touring numbers? Lol, this bitch is big. Very ****ing big. Her fanbase alone will get her past 4m copies for sure. In addition, there's been many hints that her next album will be about the demise of the pop star which is clearly a wonderful theme that will without a doubt attract many of the "lost fans" she had with BTW. The thing is, with BTW she lost many casual listeners, but attracted the HARDCORE stans, the fans that will be with her forever. So yeah, stop being ignorant and deluded.
peak, peak, peak, peak, peak, peak... ugh. Why in the world is everyone so afraid of this word? EVERYONE peaks. Michael peaked with Thriller, Madonna peaked with True Blue, Britney peaked with her debut.. does that mean they had FLOP albums after? No! Peak just basically is the period when an artist is there most successful. However, it is arguable for Gaga because BTW has not only sold millions of copies, it has launched a world tour that is heading for record breaking figures. So you may think Gaga peaked with TFM, but IMO she's never been bigger. I actually feel like "her peak" is still to come, but we will see. There's nothing wrong with peaking though, everyone has it at some point and it doesn't mean ****.

Honestly, the success Born This Way ran off of Gaga's previous success. A majority people I know bought it for hopes of Just Dance/Poker Face, only to be faced by a disappointing album.

I think she could. But she needs proper singles, 3 and a bit months at a time, and she needs 5 smashes. And she should be okay.
